The edit and view permissions don’t seem to work properly all the time

      Description

      From AT-2690

      My understanding is that if I select edit for the Admin, I should be able to edit any of the fields with this permission. Often, I am not able to edit these fields as an admin.

      Steps to reproduce:
      Set up a new template, set permissions to edit for the admin, send & preview an offer letter, try and edit the fields.

      I don't have a specific example because of the DMS API error.

      For example, when I try and send the CBATS video template, I can edit given name and position title, but I can’t edit salary.

          Analysis:

          It is found that the Z-index of the form button is high which doesn't allow to edit the textboxes. Here, co-incidently the buttons and textboxes have come in the same line.

          This issue is not reproducible. Verified this on production. As per the admin permissions set, document was editable during preview.

          Detailed steps along with screenshots is in DMS-1756.doc

          Please let me know incase if there is any specific scenario to reproduce this issue.

          I have tested this, when I had applied Edit rights only for signature and view right for DOB

          It is working as Expected but it is allowing admin to edit all other fields also which are not mapped in the template

          Please confirm on it

          Suppose I create a document template and mapped only the signature field. Should other fields allow to write? Because right now it's happening. If yes then there is no meaning for setting up the permissions. Please confirm.

          Permissions will be applied to mapped fields only. Rest fields can be editable.

          In this scenario, this bug is not valid. You can put the comment and close it.
