We are experiencing a problem where CY flag is being set back to YES after the EDI analyst had set it to NO manually. This happens during the open enrollment. We asked the following question last week and the response indicates that this behavior is not a feature but is a bug, We are experiencing it for the company Sunnyvale School District.
_When a company is in open enrollment, does the flag-flip service that runs every night reset the Current year flag to YES? We ask because there was a case where EDI analyst manually set the flag to NO – and it got flipped the next day.
Current Year Flag Flipping to YES happens in below two cases
Current Flag will be changed to YES if OE Start Date is matched to today's date i.e. the date on which service runs)
Or if the OE start date is less than today's date and it is updated a day before service runs. (This second case was identified as a redundant check and WT-11585 asked for it's removal.)
