Hi Jennifer Leugers,
As per process set by Amit to load any data like enrollments, employee data etc into the system, should be processed by EDI team. So requesting you to please create a separate ticket for the same and assign to EDI.
If any ACA related code correction that is for 1095c Part -2,Part-3, please let us know by providing the data in our specification file. We will do it.

Hi all -
I have some changes that need to be done on the JE Dunn forms -
They have a lot of Union employees so for any months in which they are employed, I would assume we would want to see a 1H / 2E. I believe we can do this class by class but I do not see how to do that from the User Interface as I only see that ability by plan. The classes that need to have the Multi-Employer code are the Union classes listed below -
ASRU Asst Supt - Rated - Union Regular
ASUN Asst Supt - Union Regular
FHRU Field Temporary Union Temporary
FSNSU - Field Superv Non St Hourly Union
FSTU Field Straight Time Union Regular
GSUN General Supt Union Regular
SUUN Sr Supts & Supts Union Regular
For all classes besides FHRN, FSNSN and the groups above, the lowest cost plan with the tobacco credit is $60.00 so we need those classes codes to 1A -
ASNU Asst Supt
ASRN Asst Supt - Rated - Non Union Regular
CCO
FSTN Field Straight Time Non Union
GSNU General Supt Non Union
OFAD
OFCR
ONEX
OPRF
RJLN
RJLX
RJNX
SUNU
For FHRN and FSNSN, I would expect them to remain at 1E since they are not eligible for the tobacco credit of $50.
Another question, why are some of the non-union employees showing as 1H / blank?
If you could please have these changes done tonight so I can give them to the client tomorrow, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks!
Jen
Hi Jennifer Leugers,
For union employees,we have created a new eligibility rule named "Union classes" which contains all the union classes mentioned in your comment.
We have created another rule named "Low Cost Plan" which contains all classes mentioned for 1A in your comment.
In ACA Customization page->ACA_1095C Classwise Configuration tab,we have set these rules with appropriate codes for 01/01/2017 - 12/31/2017.
For Union classes rules codes set are 1H/2E and for Low Cost Plan codes set are 1A with cost as $60.
We have re-run report by marking Apply Class wise configuration flag on report as yes.
Please refer latest run dated "2/5/2018 11:27:46 PM" for verification.
We have spot checked some of the employees of each group:
1. Union classes :
Scott D Bishop : 1H/2E
Jason G Estes : 1H/2E
2. Low cost plan
John F Scammacca : 1A/2C
Nicholas C Woodard : 1A/2C
3. FHRN and FSNSN classes
Israel A Davila : Jan-Aug : 1E/2F, Sept : 1H/2B, Oct-Dec : 1H/2A
Isiah J House : 1E/2C
4. why are some of the non-union employees showing as 1H / blank?
These employees do not have offers.Hence they are coming up as blank.
Hunter M Hill : Hired in Aug. No offer from Sept to Nov.Got offer from mid Dec after class change. But as offer is not present for whole month,1H is shown for Dec.
Jacob H Lansford : Hired in May.No offer from June-Dec.
NOTE: There are some discrepancy related to member SSN and MEC indicator for June month is coming up as NO.

Hi all - thanks for making all of those changes. The client has additional changes however in regards to their safe harbors. For those who had the default of $60.00, they want to use the FPL safe harbor. For the other two, they want to use Rate of Pay.

Hi Jennifer Leugers,
We have rerun report 2017 JE DUNN 1095C REPORT after doing changes in customization.
Changes done in customization are as follows
1.Changed safe harbor from 'W2' to 'Rate of Pay' on ACA customization screen for all medical plans.
2.On 'ACA 1095C class Wise Configuration' screen added Line 16 code to 2G for 'Low Cost Plan' eligibility rule.
Please refer latest run '2/7/2018 3:43:40 AM' to download the report.
Tested scenarios which are as follows.
1.Verified Valid codes are reflecting on report.
2.Verifed MEC Indicator is marked as 'NO' for the month of June and for rest of the year is as 'YES'.
3.Verified from data anlysis report 1A-2G and 1E -2H codes are reflecting on report.
Thanks,
Smita
Hi all - could you explain why Joseph Frye is showing a 2B in the month of December? Same question for Solomon Beckett, Juan Cardenas, etc. They don't fit the description as to what you were telling me about 2B so trying to figure out why they are getting that code. There are about 30 of them that have 1E / 2B. There are also a ton of records that have a 1H / blank in line 16 but I cannot understand as to why (Alec Arand is an example). If this could please be reviewed on priority tonight so I have a chance to review and respond back, that would be great. The client is anxious to get this done and I don't want to lose another day if I have questions.
Hi Jennifer Leugers,
Employee Joseph Faye got terminated on 1st Dec 2017 and we have observed that in case if termination happens on 1st date of the month,2B is displayed in that month. We have added this in our learning and will analyze it further.
However, for now, we have made changes to show 1H/2A if termination happens on 1st day of the month.
Please refer latest run dated "2/13/2018 10:14:49 PM" for further verification.
In latest run, there are no 1E/2B code combination.
For employees having 1H/Blank, I have already mentioned in my earlier comment that employees who do not have any ACA offer are getting 1H/Blank.Most of these employees fall in class "OBNI Office Benefit Ineligible Temporary".
Some of the employee are hired mid year,so till date of hire they get 1H/2A,for the month of hire,1H/2D and later months 1H/Blank as they do not have any offers. If they get offers for some later months then codes are reflected appropriately.
NOTE: There are some discrepancy related to member SSN and MEC indicator for June month is coming up as NO.

Hi all - could you please look at the client's comments below and advise as an overall process if there is anything we can do as well as specifically these two individuals?
Coding for our new-hire and re-hire union employees seems off based on the couple of people we sampled. For example, Peter Wilczynski #28502 who was hired 3/27/17 and put on layoff 9/27/17 (which essentially counts as a term with Workterra) and has always been FHRU (Field Hourly Union). I think his coding should be: 1H / 2A for the months prior to hire, and then 1H / 2E for the months he was a union employee at JE Dunn, then back to 1H / 2A for the months after he left. But his actual coding is:
1H / 2A for Jan and Feb – Correct, because he was not employed until March
1H / 2D March (hire month) – there is no assessment period to become eligible since union employees are NEVER eligible for JE Dunn’s medical coverage
1H / 2A April – he was employed in April, so this wrong
1H / 2D again in May – again, there is no assessment period to become eligible since union employees are NEVER eligible for JE Dunn’s medical coverage
1H / 2E (June-August) - Correct
1H / 2B Sept – he was employed the month of September, and I think this should be coded as 1H / 2E
1H / 2A October-December – Correct, because he “termed” on 9/27
We found a similar pattern when looking at another union employee, Mat Fox.
To reiterate, for union employees, who are always union during the year, I think the coding should be:
1H / 2A if not employed, and 1H / 2E during months of employment with JE Dunn when their medical insurance benefits would have come from the multiemployer (union) plan.
What can you do to clean up the coding for union employees like Peter and Mat who were hired/re-hired during 2017?
Hi Jennifer Leugers,
We made some changes in the back-end to accommodate client's request, for showing the codes 1H / 2A if not employed, and 1H / 2E during months of employment with JE Dunn when their medical insurance benefits would have come from the multi-employer (union) plan.
However, these changes satisfies client request to some extent.
For new hire employee : Peter Wilczynski
1H-2D will still be displayed for hire month as he is hired on 03/27/2017.
For providing 1H/2E we check on month start date if the employee is eligible.Since this employee is not eligible for March month,1H/2E will not be displayed in hire month.
This is true for all union employees who are new hire.
However for this employee, there was mismatch between employment date and effective date/status change change.
This EE's employment date is 03/27/2017,but status change date/effective date is 04/03/2017.As we consider status change date for verification of whole month employment of an employee, due to data mismatch this employee shows 1H/2A for April month.Since system data cannot be changed,we have made correction for this employee through UI.
In case if there are more employees having such scenarios, those need to be corrected through import.
For Re-hire Employee : Mat Fox
1H-2D will not be displayed in re-hire month as we have allowed 1H/2E to overwrite 1H/2D from backend.
As this employee is re-hire,he is eligible for 1H/2E for whole year irrespective of his employee status. i.e even when employee was terminated,he belonged to union rule.So he satisfies union rule for whole year.
We have re-run the report. Please refer latest run for verification.
We would also like to have an input from you regarding 1H/2E question asked below so that we can analyze and implement the same for next year execution.
Should new hire/re-hire union employee be displayed with 1H/2D for hire month?
Note: There are Member SSN discrepancy. Please get them corrected before IRS submission.
Hi all - unfortunately this client has rules based on classes and it is not showing as such through the new hire / rehire rules and our analysis only shows the employees current class. Is there anyway to get this same report and have it show the class they were in the month not as of today? This isn't the first client to request this so I wonder if that is something we can think about adding next year but this is a big issue for this client. Please advise.
Andrea Dennis FYI
Hi Jennifer Leugers,
We have made changes from back-end and generated analysis report with Employee classes that was there in the month and not today. We have checked whether the employee is present in the class or no on month end date so that latest class can be displayed for that month.
If an employee is new hire mid year, then class1 will be shown as - (dash) for the months he was not in company.
We have uploaded this analysis report on FTP.
Path: /users/workterraaca/_Tax Year 2017/JE Dunn
We have reverted these changes.
We have added this in our learning and will work on it after ACA Execution.
Hi all - I'm asking for some assistance in loading the correction file for Je Dunn to the back end work you all did as well as the corrections that need to occur. From row 444 in the attached to row 623, those individuals are currently coded as 1G so I need to make sure those codes are changed (along with all others). I also need to make sure there is a form for Kevin Dunn (he should be a 1G for all 12 months). He's on the attached on row 624. File is ACA 1095C Correction Import Template 022618.
As an FYI - this should be the last set of forms we have to run for this year!
Hi Jennifer Leugers,
We have rerun '2017 JE DUNN 1095C REPORT'.
Please refer latest run '2/27/2018 2:02:28 AM' to download file.
We have verified 1095-C pdf of employee 'Kevin Dunn' and code 1G is reflecting on his form for all 12 month.
Tested scenarios are as follows.
1.Verified all valid codes are reflecting on file.
2.MEC Indicator is marked as YES for all 12 months.
3.Tested sample employees are as follows.
Acosta Ivan
Burton Farris
Armando Posada
Nicholas Marquez
Kevin Dunn
Let us know, if you need any other additional information.
Thanks!
Hi all - the attached spreadsheet are COBRA enrollments that need forms (they will all be 1H / 2A for lines 14 & 16 but they do need forms and the coverages checked within the attached). This is another item I wish we could do from the UI (creating forms for the 1H/2A COBRA enrollments). Please update each of these forms and make sure their Part IIIs are correct. Once confirmed, please finalize and run the consolidated forms as well. Please please please make sure they are showing correctly and that none of our other changes from my changes yesterday changed when you change these folks. Thanks!
Hi Jennifer Leugers,
We have imported Part III correction for Cobra employees.
We have rerun '2017 JE DUNN 1095C REPORT' report.
Please refer latest run '2/28/2018 5:02:45 AM' to download if required.
Tested scenarios/observations are as follows
1.All valid codes are reflecting.
2.MEC indicator is marked as 'YES' for all 12 months.
3.Verified code corrected employees from previous run are as follows.
Acosta Ivan
Burton Farris
Armando Posada
Nicholas Marquez
Kevin Dunn
4.All Newly imported enrollments are reflected correctly and with 1H & 2A code for all 12 months on PDF
We have uploaded consolidated report on EBS FTP.
Details of uploaded report are as follows.

Please provide the data sheet for capturing COBRA enrollments for those that are not currently housed in WORKTERRA. We need to add them in so they receive a 1095C. Please also run the 2017 JE DUNN 1095C REPORT as it is ready.
