Customization confirmed; forms marked as void. Please run "2016 1095C for El Dorado"
As per latest customization,Plans under Medical Benefit type are marked,but plans under Retiree Medical are not marked. Both these benefit types are selected on the "2016 1095C for El Dorado" report. This may lead to wrong codes on 1095C forms. Please confirm the customization.
Note: Plans that are not marked as Minimum value will reflect the 1F code on 1095C report.Also as per IRS guidelines, Void Box is not to be marked.

We have changed the Eligibility rule in the existing EIN in EIN classes Mapping under ACA Customization. Please confirm the same.

Hi all -
Couple questions / issues on the El Dorado files ...
Employee Daniel Evans shows eligible for benefits for 1.1.16 (did an Admin QE event) but employee waived. It looks like for those who chose "I am waiving Medical Dental and Vision benefits" are not showing an offer of coverage. How do we fix this?
Additional comments from the client -
For clarification purposes, the only people who should get 1H are:
· Active Extra Help employees (some retired Extra Help do have coverage)
· Those who work less than 32 hours per pay period
All other active full time employees have access to minimum essential coverage for themselves and dependents and minimum essential value for themselves.
Hi Jennifer,
We have checked employee 'Daniel Evans' and is enrolled in 'Opt out' plan.
He is not eligible to any other ACA plan so 1H code is displayed for this employee.
We can correct code for single employee or multiple employees from UI.
Path for same is as follows.

Smita - why does it matter what he is enrolled in? The fact is he was offered the benefits so definitely should not be showing a 1H since he had the offer as evidenced by the screenshot above.

"I am waiving Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits" is a opt out plan which is under benefit type "Enrollment Starts Here" and not under Medical benefit. For ACA we only consider Medical plans.Employee is enrolled in other than medical plan which is not populating on ACA Customization screen also.

On Production, we have created 'El Dorado ACA' company.
In this company we have changed plan customization i.e removed additional criteria for medical plans and rerun 1095-C reports .
Please refer latest Run.
Steps to download reports are as follows.
1.Login to Production with Partner.
2.Edit company.
3.Navigate to Home >> Company Home >> BenAdmin Home >> BenAdmin Company Home >> ACA >> IRS Report
4.Click on Show Run
5.Refer latest run and download same.
Please review and let us know if any further changes are needed.

Hi Smita - there was an issue on Production where benefits for 2016 were termed. They have since fixed this issue (JIRA 8054) but I think we need to do the above steps with the current Production copy, not the one we used in mid-January. Could this be done and have the forms re-run tonight? Thanks!

Why is 2F showing on line 16? Their safe harbor that is on the customization page is Rate of Pay so I would have expected to see a 2H. Also - why are Denise Fisher, Jayle Goucher and Linda Pullen showing a 1F in line 14?

We have verified same at our end and observed that below mentioned early retiree plans are not marked as
minimum value plan hence 1F is reflecting on 1095-C forms
Denise Fisher - EARLY RETIREE BLUE SHIELD PPO 1300 ABHP
Jayle Goucher - EARLY RETIREE KAISER HMO PLAN
Linda Pullen - EARLY RETIREE BLUE SHIELD PPO 200 STANDARD
Even though we have set Rate of pay for medical benefit types but plans under Retiree Medical benefit type has W-2 safe harbor.
Hence code 2F is reflecting.

I just re-ran El Dorado and all of the settings show as Rate of Pay as the safe harbor but I’m not seeing any 2H and seeing all 2F.
Why?
I can’t wait another day to get back to the client; we need these approved today. Hopefully someone is around to assist.
We observed that "W2- Safe harbors" set for Retiree Medical benefit.Due to this 2F code is populated on line16.
Please Set the Safe Harbor as "Rate of Pay" for Retiree Medical benefit and click on Save.After that re run 1095C and verify the same.
Please follow the below navigation -
BenAdmin > ACA > ACA Customization > Select Benefit Type "Retiree Medical" > Select Safe Harbor as "Rate of Pay".
ALL you are in the wrong client. It is El Dorado ACA as you all set up.
