Metso Benefits - Daily NewHire Report Dynamic report

      Description

      Metso is trying to get a daily report that JUST shows them who is a newly added employee. The report that is currently setup under the Dynamic reports titled ' Daily NewHire Report' runs blank everyday. is the report setup incorrect and that is why the report runs blank everyday? Please help let me know how to setup such report that just pulls out who is a new new hire and let me know the correct way to set the scheduler show that it gets sent daily to the broker

            Hi Amannda Johnson,

            Concern:
            Dynamic reports titled ' Daily NewHire Report' runs blank everyday

            Cause:
            Have checked the customization for Daily NewHire Report.
            There are Benefit Related Fields like Benefit Type Name, Plan Design Name and Plan Effective Date selected on the report.
            This is creating a report of type Enrollment.
            The "Is New Hire" flag on customization screen works only with report of type Employee Census.

            Correction:
            Please save and schedule the report by removing mentioned Benefit related fields

            i updated the report as suggested and when i run the report i get a run error message. see message attached. i previewed the report because i wanted to make sure it ran since i set the schedule yesterday to test it out and i never got the report in my inbox. please advise how to get report to run and run out on schedule as well.

            Hi Amannda Johnson,

            Following are 3C's:
            Concern:
            Getting error on "Daily NewHire Report" after removing benefit related fields.

            Cause:
            "Daily NewHire Report" was first created as report of type Enrollment. On changing the customization also its type was not getting changed. It was still getting executed as enrollment report which caused the error. Yesterday we tried by creating a new employee census report. Hence it worked for us.

            Correction:
            We have updated the report type from backend.
            Please confirm and let us know if it works for you now.

            updated the scheduler to see what information pulled up forcing the report to run earlier in the day and i see new hires pulling out now. i will need to see what the report looks like tomorrow since the ones that came on today's report should not show on tomorrow's report.

            report pulls correctly now. just need to know why the report scheduler runs 2 twice one runs then 5 minutes later another runs. what can i change on the scheduler to help make sure the report only runs once daily.

            Hi Amannda Johnson,

            Could not work on root cause analysis for this issue. Have checked the report download history for Jan and Feb 2017. Observed that in Jan 2017, the report was delivered twice on few days. In Feb 2017, the report has got delivered only once till now. Will keep this JIRA open.
            We will need sometime to check the scenario when report is getting delivered twice. We cannot work on this at least till mid March 2017.
            So please let me know, if it is fine, if we change the Priority of this JIRA to Medium.

            Aditya Vishwakarma WT-7057 is for duplicate record not duplicate emailed reports. the client is still getting two reports. the reports generate the same information they just receive the email twice. the client sent us an example on 3/7. they example they gave us was for an add/change/term report they get the Daily Enrollment Add-Change-Term Report 2 times a day. 5 minutes between each email 6:50am and then at 6:55am. They say that all their scheduled reports come over twice. Please advise

            Both issues are similar and same fix is required for current ticket and WT-7057.
            and fix is deployed on our LB environment. Its not on production yet.

            Yesterday we have deployed this ticket fix on production and reverted due to heavy log generation.
            We have reverted the code, so this issue should be gone. Please let me know if still some body is receiving duplicate reports.

            Today I am busy with WT-8924 and WT-9223

            I will be looking soon into it.

            We have fixed it. Please check it at customer end that they are still receiving duplicate email or not.
