Michael Best changed payroll schedules from 26 to 24 payperiods,
Michael Best employee Yili Cao had a recent life event. Client is seeing a 12/1/2016 effective date for the rate (monthly divide by 24) that should not be effective until 1/1/2017.
There are two (2) medical rates with a 12/1/2016 effective rate.
I need to have the monthly rate divided by 24 effective on 1/1/2017.
Hi Michelle Parker,
This is NOT an issue with new payroll schedule coding changes. According to new payroll schedule changes for 'Michael Best Benefits', system calculates cost using 26 pay periods for year 2016 and similarly using 24 pay periods for year 2017.
For given employee 'Yili Cao', we have verified that system is calculating costs as per correct payroll schedule of respective year.
For example, Yili has election in Anthem Blue Priority - Silver Plan effective 12/01/2016 and on View Enrollment Summary/Confirmation Statement pages it shows Employee Cost $92.70 (as per 26 pay periods) under Current Enrollment Summary section and also for the same election it shows Employee Cost $100.43 (as per 24 pay periods) under Future Enrollment Summary section which is CORRECT. And also similar cost calculation is done for '2016 Health Reimbursement Arrangement'.
Please check and confirm and let us know if more details are required.
Thanks and Regards,
