Five Guys: Approval pending Records appear incorrect

      Description

      The client retrieved the following Approval Pending Elections section under the “Review Changes” link on the Workterra Exchange site. She noticed that there are several employees whose medical, vision, Flex and dental plans are being pended. The system is only supposed to pend the plans that require medical underwriting approval.

      Please see attached list of employees revealed.

      Are we able to fix the system so that only the coverages that require approval are pended?

          Hi Jenni: These are OE Elections so they could be both new hires or QE. Please see attached listing of records showing in the Pending Que report. The voluntary plans should pend approval. You will notice the same employees listed in the earlier report but those were just the plans that should not pend (same employee different coverages). Thanks. PendQue1.4.17.xlsx

          Please see the comment above. This ticket has been routed to WT. These EEs have dual enrollments. One is pended and one is completed. We are unsure what caused this to happen. Therefore this ticket has been routed to Development for review.

          Hi Rakesh Roy,

          Could please reproduce this issue at your end. We tried following scenario to reproduce this issue:-

          1. Verify in company information level and there history.
          2. Plan level
          3. Benefit level

          Please note that Five guys change customization for there OE, now they are using class wise OE. At the time this issue OE is normal.

          We tried analyzing and investigating the problem in more detail manner . Please have a look on below points [ for instance - we took employee Dipak Rana whose Vision election is in Pending List] -

          1. through back-end and UI we went through the Company Information page History to check whether the Verification flag was set or changed to Yes : we did not find any of such history
          2. through back-end and UI we went through class-wise OE customization History check whether the Verification flag was set or changed to Yes : we did not find any of such history
          3. we went through plan customization history to check whether the Admin Approval Required flag was set or changed to Yes : we did not find any of such history
          4. we added a test employee and went through his exchange flow - enrolled in plans with dependents : unexpected elections did not went for admin approval
          5. with few of the employees mentioned in your list, we tried going their exchange enrollment flow and enrolled in plans again : unexpected elections did not went for admin approval
          6. there is a QE of name 'Open Enrollment' which is set with Admin Approval as Yes, In that case we had a doubt that if employees have done their enrollments through this QE - records would have gone for Pending : when we checked with few employee history, we came to know they did their enrollments through OE only. Hence, we can not go with this possibility.

          Please do let us know, if you want us to verify any other scenarios with this.
          We are trying to investigate did we have any issues with Pending Election Functionality at the same time when these records went for Pending Approval. If we found anything on this - we will update you.

          As per request, we have removed pended action from attached election from back end expect following employees.

          Plan Name First Name Last Name
          FGO HDHP Plan Henry Thompson
          FGO HDHP Plan Yurik Pampamallco
          Dental High Plan Non NY Randi Jones
          Vision NY Randi Jones
          Dental High Plan Jennifer Jones

          This is because all these employees enrolled themselves with 'Gain or Loss of Coverage' QE and it has Requires Verification flag set to Yes. PFA screen shot.

          So their election got pended which is correct according to customization.
