Kenton 1095C forms are showing 2I code in Line 16. While IRS submission this is causing the submission to get rejected as 2I is not valid code for year 2016

Please verify this issue. Concern: Kenton 1095C forms are showing 2I code in Line 16. While IRS submission this is causing the submission to get rejected as 2I is not valid code for year 2016
Cause: Plan enrollment start date was set for the ACA Plans which results in 2I. This date was set for the year 2015.All the plans whose plan enrollment start year was set and continue in the year 2016 was getting the as 2I. This code is not a valid code for 2016.Hence while IRS submission this is causing the submission to get rejected.
Correction: We have commented the code of 2I. Henceforth,2I code will not be reflected in the forms.

We have verified above mentioned issue on Ken ton production company.
Tested scenarios are as follows.
1.Checked 2I code on 2015 RUN and 2016 RUN on UVU
2.Compared RUNs on KenTon
