Hello Umesh Kadam
Thank you
reopened for adding work log details
Hello Jyoti Mayne and Umesh Kadam,
Attached, please find updated files for all facilities listed above. The last column of every file asks Development to Add "Waive" to Medical Election as the benefit type for those employees who did not make any medical selections. Other rows within the column are left blank if employees are new hires or are enrolled in benefits as incidated in the "Comments" column.
Please populate the benefit type as mentioned in each file in Production.
If work could begin on this project immediately so that ACA files can be run for 2017, it would be greatly appreciated.
The password to open the attachments has been emailed separately.
Thank you,
Amber
Hi Nandkumar Prabhakar Karlekar,
This is required for pulling ACA files.
In attached files for terminated employees need to insert data from back end for waived election for medical benefit types.
Please make required corrections.

Hi Amber Love-Jones,
There seems incomplete information in the attached excel. There should be Effective date, Term date for enrollments.
This can be done through election import. Can you please make sure by importing mentioned elections, other elections in same benefit will not be affected. Please share more details, or let us know in case we can schedule call to discuss more details on this.

Satya Prakash

We are working on this. We are creating the files and templates for Import.
Hello Suraj Sokasane, Jaideep Vinchurkar, Nandkumar Prabhakar Karlekar, Vijay Siddha,
Can you please provide us with an update on your progress?
1. Please confirm if the employee profiles with no Medical election have been populated with "Waive Plan."
2. Also please confirm if the files and templates for the import have been updated.
We will be sending another set of updated spreadsheets shortly.
Thank you,
Amber
Hi Amber Love-Jones,
We need some inputs from you:
- The DEV Instructions column says "Add "Waive" to Medical Election" where as the Waive Plans column says Ignore/Waive Medical. We are not getting our action item here. What we understood is skip all employees with "Ignore" and enroll all others in "Waive Medical" plan. Is this ok?
- There are 3 plans:
-Waive Medical Opt Out
-Waive Medical Opt Out Employee+Spouse
-Waive Medical
but most of the files contain "Waive Medical" only. Are all elections to be done in this single plan? - Some Employees which in file are said to be enroll in Waive Medical, do not satisfy the eligibility criteria of the plan. Can we let them go to bad and send you back the bad file?
- The eligibility criteria for the plan does not allow Employees with status Terminated. there are many terminated employees in file.
I'll mail you the Import File we have created as per our understanding. Please let us know your views on questions above as well as the file.
Hi Dev -
You will only need to pay attention to "Dev Instructions" and status change date. You only need to enroll those into the Waive Medical plan. The one's with OPT OUT are not to be loaded into. We are only needing those enrolled into the Waive Medical plan.
Those that are not eligible please feel free to send them back to Amber to correct. Some may be due to "Terminated" status but those do need to be loaded. That is why I included the Term date as well. These enrollments are used for ACA so they need the history in the records.
Im not sure what the best way is but those employees need to be in that waive plans. If you need to add "Terminated" to the plans to get them in, than please do so but we need those elections in.
Thanks!
Jenni
Hi Jennifer Johnson, Amber Love-Jones,
- Now that we have to consider Dev Instructions, we have to enroll those having Add "Waive" to Medical Election under this column and skip those which have blank. Is this okay?
- If the records having "Ignore" under Waive Plans are also to be considered, there are no effective date or termination date given for those records. Please suggest what dates can be considered. We assumed to skip the one saying "ignore" because there were no dates.
- One assumption is for Terminated Employees, consider '01/01/2017' as Effective date and Status change date as termination date. But the Termination date is not given for some Active Employees too.
- As Jennifer said, we can add "Terminated" into eligibility. We tried this on EHMC. Still many records were went to bad. I'll mail the bad file.
Nandkumar Prabhakar Karlekar, Please add if anything required.

Hello Suraj Sokasane,
Please see answers below to questions 1., 2., and 3., and 4.:
1. Yes, skip those which have a blank.
2. For the records having "Ignore," do NOT load.
3. Those that need to be loaded have a term date. If you ignore the "Ignore" records, every other election that has a term date is the actual term.
4. We did not receive the bad file. Please email and provide password to Jennifer Johnson and Amber Love-Jones.
Thank you,
Amber
Hi Amber Love-Jones,
We tried the load for two facilities on Prime<Space>Healthcare today:
- San Dimas
- Paradise Valley Hospital
Following are the observations and action taken by us:
- We considered all records which has DEV Instructions and Waive Plan not set to "Ignore". We will send you the data files we tried to Import.
- The records were sent to bad due to eligibility. As per Jennifer Johnson' instruction, we clonned the eligibility rule and allowed terminated status in it. This rule is applied to "Waive Medical" plan.
- Next reason for bad record was Retroactive days. The retroactive days were set to 30. Which was not allowing some terminated enrollments to get in. We changed the Retroactive days to 999. We had done this for ACA historical load before.
- After these steps, still records are sent to bad. We will send you the data file and bad file for both facilities.
Please note, we did all these activities on HSPL copy of Prime<space>Healthcare. We will go ahead for the main company once we have your approval for above actions.
Please let us know if we can go ahead for all the facilities. Additionally please look into the bad files so that bad records can be reduced before starting the process on main companies.
Thanks!
Hello Suraj Sokasane,
1. The report you sent over was for EHMC.
2. Ok.
3. Thank you for making the change for retroactive days.
4. We updated all Prime_Healthcare facilities so that the Waive Plan has been added to all Class 2 in Production. Please move forward.
Thank you.
Hi Amber Love-Jones,
We have completed the imports by following the above mentioned steps in my comment.
Following are observations:
- Bad file records count was high for SRMC, Alvarado and EHMC.
- No records were sent to bad for Prime Management.
We will send you all the data files we used to import and all the bad files except Prime Management.

Hello Suraj Sokasane,
Attached, please find the updated CHMC report to run. I will check the bad files and advise.
Thank you,
Amber
Hi Amber Love-Jones,
We imported all files on Prime<space>Healthcare. The facilities and employees exist on company. But after the split, new companies are created for following facilities:
- SRMC
- AH
- EHMC
- CHMC
Can you please confirm, files related to above companies need to be imported on those companies separately and all others on Prime<space>Healthcare. Because other facilities, for example San Dimas, Paradise Valley do not have separate company yet.
Also, the files for SRMC, AH and EHMC are already imported on Prime<space>Healthcare. Though very few records were inserted, do you need the correction?
Hello Suraj Sokasane,
Yes, confirming that files related to above companies need to be imported on the following separate companies:
- AH
- CHMC
- EHMC
- SRMC
Please make the correction as these facilities are no longer part of Prime_Healthcare, but are separate facilities in Workterra.
Please ensure that those with hire dates after 4/1/2017 do not have the Waive added as they are still within their eligibility period to enroll in benefits.
Other updated files will be forwarded shortly.
Thank you.
Amber
Hi Amber Love-Jones,
- We have done the correction.
- Also we have imported the files for below facilities:
- AH
- EHMC
- SRMC
- For CHMC we found many deficiencies. Effective date was not provided for some records and many records were sent to bad. This was done on HSPL copy. As many records were kicked out, we did not proceed to main. Please suggest what can be done in this case.
I will mail you the data files and bad files. Please note the bad file for CHMC is from HSPL copy and Import is not yet done on Main.
Hello Suraj Sokasane,
I reviewed the Bad File Records that you attached. Please only update those records that have effective dates and "Add Waive to Medical Election" under the DEV Instructions column. For those that do not have effective dates, and do not show "Add Waive to Medical Election" under the DEV Instructions column, you do not need to do anything further.
The eligibility has been updated for all facilities to allow any class or status to be enrolled in the Waive Medical Plan. Please rerun the facilities where you show bad files.
Thank you,
Amber
Dev -
I have a question - Is there a way to automatically pull a "Waive" for all employees in the system that have not made an election in Medical? Is there a way to code this on going?
Nandkumar Prabhakar Karlekar - Not sure if this is something someone has already requested but Im just asking - The whole reason for this is that the Employer is needing an election of some sort for EVERY Benefit eligible person. We have talked about default plan mapping but there has been no approval yet from the employer.
Jenni
Hello Suraj Sokasane,
Please find updated facilities HMC and KMC, UPDATED 5.15.2017. Please make the updates in WT accordingly. The password will be sent to you separately.
Thank you,

Hi Jennifer Johnson]
Currently, this report is manual, if you want such report, Please raise separate ticket for the same.
This is report will consume huge CPU and memory so serving this report from web site may cause performance problem.
so we are doing this from back end.
Thank you ,
Nandkumar
Hi Amber Love-Jones,
- We have done the Imports for KMC and HMC. Only one record was sent to bad for HMC. For KMC whole file was successful.
- Also, We re-imported the bad files for AH,EHMC,SRMC. We will send you the bad files.
- For CHMC, the records with No effective date were sent to bad. But that's okay as per your previous comment.
We will send you the bad files and some detailed analysis in email.
Can you please let us know if there are more facilities to load elections so that we can update ACA team.
Hello Suraj Sokasane,
I will review the additional files you sent in this attachment.
For Pallavi’s detail below, I reviewed all examples and provided the below response 2 days ago:
Eligibility was updated for all facilities so that any class can be enrolled in the Waive Plan.
We do have additional facilities to load. Jennifer Johnson or I will advise and upload when we have confirmed all entry items for Dev to work on.
Thank you.
Amber

Hello Suraj Sokasane,
I reviewed the bad files you sent over for Hospitality, PMC and Prime Healthcare. Nothing needs to be done with them:
- Hospitality - 4 employees were terminated in 2015 and 2016. Employee George Bikouvanis was already enrolled in the EPO1 Plan before he was termed in 2/2017
- PMC - I manually enrolled employee Kristie Bai in the Waive Medical Plan effective 1/1/2017
- St Marys Medical Group (Under Prime_Healthcare) had one employee on the bad file. Employee Deanna Brown was only employed for 6 days, so she was not enrolled in any medical plan.
I reviewed the ticket messages above and do not see any other open questions.. Please confirm that all facilities have been updated and nothing additional is needed from me. Once this has been done, please begin working on WT-8076 to re-run the ACA reports for January, February, March and April, 2017.
Thank you.
Amber
