Below are our findings on this issue.

1. Tried to login to the EEs mentioned in the description

• Efrain Gonzales Ortiz
• Jourdain H St Cyr
• Guillermo H Hernandez

Their Login Failed.

2. After regenarating their Passwords through SA utility toolbox Logged in successfully.

3. Tried scenario by adding new EE. EE logged in successfully by using system generated password.

4. Tried the scenario my adding new test EE through Manual import. The EE was not able to log in through system generated Password.

5. Regenarated the password for the imported test EE. EE logged in successfully using system generate password.

Request you to please look into this issue.

Thank you, while you work on this, can we go ahead and change the password for the EEs to the default password so that the EEs can log in? Or do I have to wait for your research first?

More example for this issue. New Hires that were loaded in WORKTERRA today via the inbound new hire file import that EEs can't log in with the default password. I tried each one.

Also, we'll change the password to default on Monday. No need to wait for research to complete.

Thanks Suraj Sokasane I did go ahead and updated their passwords to their default passwords on yesterday 6/26. Thank you. We have several new hires on our JE Dunn NEW HIRE file today (daily file) so let me know if you want those employee names from today's file.

Thank you for the update. We will not regenerate the passwords of those employees.

Here are the details about issue:

Concern: Employee not able to log in if added through Import.

Cause: While solving the bug WT-9055, we deployed code on production on 20th June 2017, this impacted the password generation process. Passwords were not getting generated properly.

Correction: We will deploy the code fix tomorrow on production and the issue will be solved.

Tracy Kot, please note, the issue is for all employees added through import after 20th June. There might be few more whose password is not set to default by you. We will regenerate there passwords.

Suraj Sokasane thank you very much. For the New Hires from today's NEW HIRE file for JE Dunn, will you generate those too or do I need to do that manually? The NEW HIRE file has not been loaded yet by EDI.

As the code fix will be deployed tomorrow, the new hires added today will have incorrect passwords. You may go ahead and regenerate those or we will do it first thing in the morning.

Company you are using is not the latest. Scripts are not executed on the company that you are using.The latest company is JE Dunn OE Test 2017. Please use this company for making HSPL.

This has been deployed and tested on production. Also, we have scanned all companies and found around 47 were affected. Attached is the list of the companies. We have regenerated the passwords for users of those companies.
