Overview:
Ability to inform send that a message has bounced due to an invalid email addresses, a full mailbox, service interruptions/connection timed out or mailbox rejected because it was considered spam.
User Stories
1. As a user I would want to be notified that an email message did not go through due to having an invalid email address so that I know the end user did not receive message.
2. As a user I would want to be notified that an email message did not go through due to a service interruption so that I know the end user did not receive message.
3. As a user I would want to be notified that a text message did not go through due to having an invalid phone number so that I know the end user did not receive message.
4. As a user I would want to be notified that a text message did not go through due to a service interruption so that I know the end user did not receive text message.
5. As a user I would want to be notified that an email message did not go through due to an end users mailbox being full so that I know the end user did not receive the message.
6. As a user I would want to be notified that an email message did not go through due to an end users mailbox marking/considering my email as spam so that I know the end user did not receive the message.
Entry Criteria:
1. The user navigates to DMS.
2. The user navigates to message history.
3. The user is shown a notification on a certain message that it could not go through and reasoning.
Exit Criteria:
- The user exits out of portal if logged in, or navigates to another page.
Acceptance Criteria:
- IF I have sent an email to an end user and it is sent to an invalid email address, I am notified within the DMS that the message did not go through.
- IF I have sent an email to an end user and it is sent during a service interruption or when connection was timed out and the email could not go through, I am notified within the DMS that the message did not go through.
- IF I have sent a text message to an end user and it is sent to an invalid phone number, I am notified within the DMS that the message did not go through.
- IF I have sent a text message to an end user and it is sent during a service interruption or when connection was timed out and the email could not go through, I am notified within the DMS that the message did not go through.
*IF I have sent an email message to an end user and their email box is full, I am notified within the DMS that the message did not go through and end user did not receive.
*IF I have sent an email message to an end user and their email determined my email was considered spam and marked it as spam, I am notified within the DMS that the message did not go through and end user did not receive.
Prerequisites:
- User has access to DMS.
- User has access to Message History.
Hi Molly Ronovsky : We are planning to make it like iterable with 3 buttons of Email, Push and Text. Once a user click on Email, three tabs will display by the name : Sent, Bounced, In Queue. Let me know if it will work for you.
