Issue:
I logged in as Partner and clicked on the 'Select Company' function on the top left corner to trigger the dropdown. It show the loading prompt for a while, then there was a lapse of around 10 seconds before the dropdown is shown (even though I did not click anything else). You can see the reproduction here
How it should work:
Once the loading prompt goes away, the listing should show. As such, it should be a case where we either extend the duration of the prompt, or (preferred) improve the loading speed to shorten loading time.

The issue has been resolved and also tested on Preprod site. Now the site is approximately taking 2 to 3 seconds to load the company list. Could you please verify at your end and let us know if you need any more information on this.

Venkatesh Pujari Thanks team for working on this and for the update. I tried a few times and currently the top left corner takes around 10 seconds to load the company list while the Manage Companies widget takes around 6 seconds to load search results. While it is not within 2-3 seconds mentioned, at least now the loading icon will show until the list is ready so I think this experience is acceptable. Please assist to close the ticket. Appreciate it.

Concern :- Company DropDown was taking more time to load the data.
Cause :- In existing implementation for fetching the Company Image , cursor is used and it was fetching the data from all company databases.
Correction :- Now we are not displaying company images along with company name , so logic of fetching the images from all company databases is updated now. Due to this the time required to fetch data is reduced .
