      Description

      Hi,

When testing the Qualifying Event, Marriage, there is an issue with the Voluntary Spouse Life. If an EE is already enrolled in Voluntary EE Life, they should be able to then enroll their new Spouse in the Voluntary Spouse Life plan. However, the Voluntary Spouse Life plan is visible while going through the enrollment tunnel, but the "Select Coverage" drop down menu does not drop down. Instead you get a red circle with a slash through it and you are unable to enroll in the plan. When you get to the end of the enrollment tunnel you get an error message that says you need to Enroll or Waive the benefit type, although the system will not allow you to enroll. Please advise as to why this is happening and provide a fix for this issue.

      Thank you,
      Kira Hamilton
      Debbie Kulling

          Hi Kira Hamilton,

While analysis above JIRA we found that it is customization issue.
On Marriage Qualifying Event Event Rule is set to Event Allows only Increase in Coverage this will allow only enrolled plans to increase their coverage. if plan is not enrolled then it will now allow user to make any change or to enroll in plan. Please find attached screen shot for more details.

          Thanks,
          Harshawardhan.

This group is set up in exactly the same way in stage and production. I just posted the marriage event for William Adame in stage and I was able to enroll in both the Employee and Spouse life. Was this changed in the new UI?

          Hi Debbie Kulling,

We have checked he code for the same and we have made corrections for the same.
Once deployed on pre-prod please check the functionality.
Bellow are the 3c's for the same.
Concern : Unable to enroll in Employee and spouse life plan in marriage qualifying event if Marriage
qualifying event having field Event Rule is set to Event Allows only Increase in Coverage.
Cause : This issue occurs due to extra check is applied on field Event Rule if it is
set to Event Allows only Increase in Coverage, this will not allow employee to make any change in plan if he is not enrolled.
Correction : We have removed the extra check from the code.

          Thanks,
          Harshawardhan.
