a. The employee or supervisor can only create a new check-in if there is not one currently pending submission by either the individual or the supervisor.
b. The check-in shall consist of a particular check-in date, a composite rating calculated based on the current weights of the employee's specified metrics for both the employee and the supervisor, and comments for both the employee and the supervisor.
c. The employee or supervisor can save a check-in to enable editing at a later time.
d. The employee or supervisor can only edit a check-in before it is submitted and is not allowed to make changes once it is submitted.
e. The supervisor or employee cannot see the other's pending check-in information unless it has been submitted.
f. A check-in is considered complete once both the employee and supervisor have submitted their ratings and comments.
