Example affected: Christina Abina (terminated/per diem)
Hello Vinayak Kulkarni,
The carrier provided us a list of Saint Mary employees who's coverage were terminated but never went over on the HR Simplified COBRA files. There's many for the month of November and December. I didn't see Christina Abina on any of the files between 12/4/17 - 12/28/17. She had Medical, VSP vision, and Delta Dental terminated effective 12/31/17.
Please see attachment with list of employees provided by the carrier. I took a quick look at the company templates and can see the facility, status, and plans are correctly selected. Not sure why many aren't coming over St Mary Employees.xlsx on the file.
Thank you,
Alex

Hi Vinayak Kulkarni,
CE, Amber, is hoping it can be resolve in two days. If not, she will go through manually and look them up. Let me know if you need additional info.
They will need it on the file due to demographic and other required infos. If can't be done in time, Amber will do them manually to send over to the carrier.
Thank you,
Alex
Yes, I had word with Amber about this. Thank you.
Hi Vinayak Kulkarni,

Vinayak Kulkarni - should this be moved to "bug"?
Yes Abhay Patil , We have converted this into bug. Thanks.
Hi Satya
We need look into this on priority, because of this we got WB-560 today.
Swapnil Pandhare
It seems daily correction job is not running and we need to find out when it stopped and we would need list of employees it missed to add in RaisedEventBuilder Table to force them on cobra file.
Please treat this as high priority as COBRA notices must be sent to employees within specific window. Let us know if you have any questions on this. Thanks.
Attached test cases WB-236.xls
Temporary fix for this has been done on Production and For permanent fix we'll take this into next sprint.
Do we have the list of all the members/clients who were impact aligned to the client. Could you please provide one to ops team. I think this is the same list that Operation was asking and Development team was going to provide.
Please let me if I am missing anything..
Thanks, Monika.
Hi Monika Demla,
Development sent missed cobra files to respective EDI analyst directly via email. We sent two set of files, first one in Jan 2018 and another in March 2018, see below details of impacted clients.

We are putting this on hold. As we have deployed TEST PATCH on Production for logging critical scenarios to reproduce this. We'll log critical scenarios until 23rd April and then we'll revert this TEST PATCH from production.
We'll get finding from logged scenarios and we'll be able to track the exact cause.
Thanks,

Hello,
I wanted to circle back on this as right now all of these files have been reviewed and as of this point the only ones still in process of finalization of impact are KARMA and Alecto. As of this point, we have identified all were passed on files to COBRA.
Can you advise the type of query run as I know the lists and clients provided were supposed to be folks missed?
Also, can you advise why on KARMA we received people going back to September 2017 when the issue was initially raised as a breakdown beginning Jan 2018 forward?
Let us know.
Jackie
About your first question, list and clients provided were supposed to be folks missed?
Yes, they were missed and we scanned whole production clients and prepared cobra file as per respective client's cobra template structure for missed folk. Then we sent these cobra files to respective EDI analyst. They have uploaded/sent these file to cobra vendor.
So the point when list & clients were attached to this ticket, missed folk were sent to cobra vendor.
About your second question, why on KARMA you received people going back to September?
Actually issue occurred due to WT-9141 which got deployed to production on 19/Sep/17. However we got to know about issue toward end of 17 and that is why we sent two files.
One, EBS_TERMS_COBRA010920180331.xls was fetched on Jan 09 2018
second EBS_TERMS_COBRA03272018_Karma was fetch on March 27 2018.
First file had people from 19th September 2017 on wards.
Let us know if you have any questions on this. Thanks.
Hi Alex Nguyen,
This issue is fixed and verified on Production,Please review it.and close the JIRA.
Let us know , if there is any query.
Thanks,
CC-Hrishikesh Deshpande Swapnil Pandhare Niteen Surwase Vinayak Kulkarni
The carrier just reported issues with records from some facilities missing coverages and tiers. This was recently reported yesterday regarding the COBRA files. I need to go through and review them and let you know whether this is something that needs to be fixed on our end. I will close ticket after if no assistance needed from Dev.
Thank you,
Alex
Closing ticket. I have run cobra term report and pulled required data requested by carrier. Carrier was stating some records on file were missing coverage tier and plans. I checked one of the record on file and didn't see this issue, but went ahead and pulled the data for short list of affected records.
Hi Alex,
It seems that status change ( active to terminated ) is not captured by event builder which used in cobra processing, Will have to check with team.
Let us know how urgent is this? are mentioned employees are reported to HR simplified or do we need to get them on cobra file in order to report them?
Swapnil Pandhare We need to have call for this, There is no entry in table raisedEventBuilder even though terminated event is configured properly and employee's status changed to terminated.
