Hi all - on Helms, the employee's coverage terminated on 10.27.17 and her Part II looks correct but I'm trying to figure out why October is marked under Part III. Do we mark that even if there is only coverage for part of the month?

Yes, Part III will be marked even if coverage was present for single day of the month.

From IRS 1095C Instruction:
Part III—Covered Individuals (Lines 17–22)
Column (d). Check this box if the individual was covered for at least one day per month for all 12 months of the calendar year.
Column (e). If the individual was not covered for all 12 months of the calendar year, check the applicable box(es) for the month(s) in which the individual was covered for at least one day in the month.

Getting a server error when trying to load the Part III from the UI / bulk correction. Please load and re-run the forms tonight. Thanks.

This group has been re-run by applying correction. Please find the below run details for verification.

CONCERN: Import failed
CAUSE: When correction are made through ui for part3, in such scenario corrections by import, giving an issue since UI corrections are inserting a separate record of an null value in 'MonthStartDate field' whenever all 12 months marked.

CORRECTION: Noted in our learning ticket to resolve an issue.

All - doesn't look like anyone checked the forms as the months in which the client wanted to be unmarked are still showing. I just tried to do the same from the UI and it does not "take" either. I had to correct the forms manually but need this updated and validate so we can make sure the right information is given to the IRS.

Hi Jennifer Leugers,

As per implementation, system does not unmark the box for system generated Part III. If month value is zero,then system ignores it and provides system generated value for it. It has been implemented in this way so that,system generated codes are not overwritten if user wants to change some month's data.

However, to accommodate client's request to unmark Part III,we made some changes in the backend.
Please refer latest run dated "2/26/2018 3:24:35 AM" for verification.

Note: There are some discrepancy related to Member last name and SSN. Please correct them before IRS submission.

Also we would like your input on how Part III correction should be processed so that we can make this change in system for next year execution. Should we consider that if month value is 0,then system generated Part III should be overwritten and in case if some months data(1 or 0) is provided,then only that month's data should be overwritten,Rest month's data will be system generated.
