Hi Jennifer Leugers,
We have made changes from backend in 1095C processing to mask SSN for forms, but not for IRS submission. For IRS submission,if this run is used, then whole SSN will be visible. But for employees,SSN will be masked on forms.
Masked SSN forms can be provided to employees but while submitting to IRS SSN should not be masked.
Please refer latest run for forms with Masked SSN.
Please let us know, which all companies request for masked SSN so that we can consider this for learning and can be implemented for next year.
All this is definitely a system issue - if I terminated someone in March 2018 but I term them back to 12.31.2017, they were never an employee for 2018 and should not get a form. Please look into this further. I did change them to 1H / 2A and they were removed from the latest run.
