Hi all - client stated that they were self-insured since 7.1.17 so I marked just the new plans for self insured and the others not. The Broker thinks that because they were self insured for part of the year, we need to list dependent coverage for the entire year. Could you please advise?

This can be achieved using 1095 C corrections (either import or UI). But we need to find out the dependents who all are enrolled in self insured medical plans and correct them for entire year. Also we have to make sure that if dependents are marked on Part 3 then employee's line no 16 code must be 2C for the entire year.

Hi all - the dependents are in the system so I think if I check all plans as self insured they will show. The question I'm asking is if the client is self insured for part of the year, do they have to show the dependent coverage for the entire year on the 1095C forms or just the time when they were self insured.

We have to show the dependent coverage for just the time when they were self insured only.
