Hi Jennifer Leugers,
We have RUN 1095-C report on Town of Cary company.
Please refer run of Run date as of '12/7/2017 9:40:36 PM'.
Attaching QA verification check list for additional information.
Please refer Jira:WT-6315. Last year TOC has suggested EE Cost changes.
Let us know, if any such changes are needs to be done this year also.
We need to do some code changes to incorporate such changes.
It will be very helpful if we get such information in advance.
Thanks,
Hi all - confirmed with the client that we need to enter the cost changes. Cary’s employee only monthly premium contribution without any reward for wellness is $176.59 from January 2017 – June 2017 and $192.29 from July 2017 – December 2017. The plan is Health Plan. Please make the changes requested and re-run the forms tonight if at all possible. Thanks!
Hi Jennifer Leugers,
We have re-run the report. Please refer run date 1/3/2018 9:29:59 PM for verification.
We have created two class wise configuration for rule 1095c Rule New, one from Jan 2017 to June 2017 with cost $176.59 & another from July 2017 to Dec 2017 with cost $192.29 with a change in back-end for Health Plan.
Hi all - thanks for re-running the forms but there are still about 30 individuals in the RETIREE OR RETLAW Class 1 and 8888-RETIREES in Class 2 that are still showing a 1A for a month. Could you please check into this and advise as to why? Thanks!
Hi Jennifer Leugers,
The employees which are getting 1A for certain month are those employees which are not Enrolled/Offered under Health Plan for that particular month. In your earlier comment you have mentioned the cost change only for Health Plan.
We have verified this on HSPL company by raising the qualifying event for the month which the employees are getting 1A.
Example - JACK FRAZIER is marked 1A for month 03/01/2017, so we raised a qualifying event for the same and he is enrolled/offered under Retiree Health Plan & Retiree Supplemental. Refer
I'm not following. The employee in your example was set to Retired in February so why would we be showing coverage at all? Shouldn't that be a 1H/2A since they are "Retiree" and not Active?
Hi Jennifer Leugers,
As per the current system implementation,We mark the employee part time from the following month.i.e if employee was retired/terminated from 2/3/2017 then we mark employee part time from 3/1/2017.For the month of Feb,his status is not changed. So codes get generated accordingly.
For this employee,he is retired in Feb and as we mark him part time from March, codes are furnished for Feb month as per offers applicable.
Shouldn't the cost be 1E/2B as per the others that the client requested?
Hi Jennifer Leugers,
As per my earlier comment,Employee is full time in the month he is terminated and he had offer of a plan for the whole month whose cost is $0.So 1A-2C is generated. 2B will not come as 2B will come only when full time employee termination causes coverage to terminate.
Hi Jennifer Leugers,
We have made some changes in the code to reflect 1H/2A in the month of their termination if they were terminated on 1st day of the month. We have re-run the report and compared it with previous run. Please find attached excel sheet TOC_ACA1095CCodeComparison.xls .Password is as per the convention communicated.
Comparison shows 34 records whose codes are changed from 1A/2C to 1H/2A. Run1 in the report is the previous run and Run 2 is the latest run dated "01/10/2018".
Please let us know in case you have any queries.
Hi all - I uploaded some corrections via the UI. Please re-run the forms. Thanks!
Hi Jennifer Leugers,
We have rerun the '1095C for TOC'.
Please refer latest run '2/11/2018 10:44:03 PM' to download.
Tested scenarios are as follows.
1.Valid codes are reflecting on report.
2.MEC indicator is Marked as YES for all 12 months.
3.Tested corrected sample employees are as follows.
LUN RCOM
DONNA TORRISI
GAIL TAYLOR
JUNE NEMETZ
Thanks
Hi all - some of the changes did not "work" again - they defaulted back to 1G. Please upload the attached and verify the codes are all uploaded including those that are currently 1G.
We have rerun the '1095C for TOC'.
Please download the latest run '2/19/2018 10:51:50 PM' to download.
Tested scenarios are as follows.
1.Valid codes are reflecting on the report.
2Tested corrected sample employees are as follows.
TAYLOR GAIL
NEMETZ JUNE
HINSON HOUSTON
RCOM LUN
FOSTER CLAUDE
Please review and let me know for any correction.

Hi all - we made additional changes and when I re-ran the forms, they defaulted back again. Please fix and re-run.
Hi Jennifer Leugers,
Below employee's correction were made yesterday. The correction codes given for these employees where 1G.
- WINFIELD HUNTER
- RICKY DANTZLER
- DONALD DANIELS
- JAMES CONDER
- JACK SMITH
- DON FRANTZ
- ROBERT BENFIELD
On comparing with Yesterday's run('2/19/2018 10:51:50 PM') and latest run('2/20/2018 10.41.03 AM') only difference is these employees who have been added with code 1G.
Can you please let us know which employees defaulted back.
All - we need the previously attached file to be uploaded again and the forms to be re-run (and please verify they do not default back to 1G). Also, within the attached, one individual has 1H/2A for all 12 months BUT they were on the client's plan at some point in 2017 so they want a form for them and want the boxes checked for those months under Section III (even though we know we can't use the 1G code for partial months so the codes will remain 1H/2A). So for employee Winfield Hunger, we need Section III checked for Jan-Sep.
We have imported the previous attached sheet ACA 1095C Correction Import Template 2.8.18.zip and re-run the report.
For employee "Winfield Hunger" we have specifically excluded him from deletion as his correction codes are 1H/2A.Also we have made his Part III correction to show Jan-Sep marked for him and his spouse.
Please refer run dated "2/21/2018 11:08:58 PM" for verification. We have verified all employees provided in correction sheet. No one had defaulted back to 1G and it will not happen hence forth for any run, unless the correction codes provided are 1G.
However, looking at the data of employee "Winfield Hunger", we think that this employee should get 1G as he is retired employee with benefits in 2017.This employee's enrollment data shows that this employee is enrolled with spouse in ACA Plan from Jan-Sept and from Oct,only employee is enrolled.
So his should be 1G for whole year with Part 3 marked as EE will be marked for all 12 months and his spouse will be marked from Jan-Sept.
It might happen that this employee gets rejected during IRS submission as his codes are 1H/2A with part 3 marked.
Please let us know your views on this.
NOTE: There is discrepancy related to Last name. Please refer last tab of Analysis report for more details. Please get them corrected before IRS submission.
Hi all - getting a server error when trying to load the new Part III file. Please load tonight and verify those individuals with a 1H / 2A but where the clients have months checked under Part III are showing (and make sure they are not showing as 1G). I've already loaded Part III but am attaching both herein for your review. Thanks!
Hi Jennifer Leugers,
Due to null value in month start date,it was throwing an error. We have noted this in our learning and will work on it after execution.
We have imported the files and re-run the forms.
As per system implementation, Part III data is combined from system and correction data.So system does not unmark the check box(if checkbox is marked as per system enrollment data),if month value is 0.
While checking the file, there were records where spouse was marked for months where employee is not marked.
We have re-run the report. Please refer latest run "2/23/2018 4:39:53 AM" for verification.
However in case if you require Part III marked considering only correction data and not combination of system + correction, then refer run dated "2/23/2018 3:45:27 AM".In this run, system generated part III is not considered.
We have checked all employees with 1H/2A and correction data.No employee has defaulted to 1G.
Report 1095C for TOC is ready to run. Thanks!
