Hi all - could you please advise why Jason Juneau is not showing as 2B on Line 16?

Hi Jennifer Leugers,

Jason Juneau is not eligible for any ACA medical plan. So 1H is displayed with says that EE does not have any offer.This EE is a full time employee.
2B will be displayed only when :
1. EE is full time employee who is terminated and offers got terminated because EE got terminated
2. EE is part time employee who has offers but did not enroll in it.

Hi all - please advise on why the two employees are getting a 2B

Jodi Ramsey – Rehire 11/6 showing 2B for Oct.
Rebecca Elmore – Rehire 11/6 showing 2B for Oct.

Per comments I was given previously -
Per the IRS instructions, 2B should only be used if 1) the employee is part time, was offered coverage and did not enroll OR 2) the employee was full-time and the employee’s coverage ended before the end of the month.

This is not true of these two employees so not sure why they are getting a 2B.

Looking at the history of these employees,they were effective in 2017 even though their employment date is of 2013 and they where terminated and re-hired. Due to termination in October month,2B got displayed.

We have identified this scenario and have updated our learning on the same.We will do further analysis on this.

We have done some changes in 1095C processing code and re-run the report. Please refer latest run for verification.
The mentioned employees has 1H/2A for Oct month in the latest run.

Hi Jennifer Leugers,

We have imported the Part II and Part III correction and re-run the forms.
We have found one error in the excel sheet.Employee SSN was not present.So this record is not imported.Please find attached screenshot.

Please refer latest run for verification.

While verification, we found some employee PDF's where in Part III, Employee is not marked but spouse/dependents are marked for that month.UH_EmployeeListforCorrectionVerification.xls.
Please go through attached excel sheet which contains employees that were imported today and have part III unmarked but dependents marked for some months.
