This group has been run. Please refer latest run dated "12/5/2017 3:12:51 AM" for verification.
Observation: Some of the plans are marked as ACA but are not minimum value plan.so 1F code is coming up.Please verify ACA Customization
Hi all - we need to have the forms for this group re-run but for all employees in Class 3 FTE that have a value of .5 or higher need to show a lowest cost plan of $0 as the client pays 100% of their premiums for EE only on the HMO plan. Those that are in an FTE lower than .5 have to pay the amounts that are showing in WORKTERRA so they are correct showing as 1E.
Please make this change in the system and re-run the forms but please also give me the instructions that you do in the system so I can assist with any of the same type of changes for clients as they begin providing feedback.
Hi Jennifer Leugers,
We have re-run the report. Please find run date 1/3/2018 3:05:07 AM for verification.
FYI, we have furnished this report by creating a new Rule named Class 3 FTE Zero Cost and created class wise configuration for this rule for whole year with Minimum cost as $0 and also made some changes in back-end.
Note - In Workterra, we don't have provision for providing cost for particular bunch of employees with plan. We can either provide cost for all employees for the particular plan which can be set on ACA Customization and if we want to update cost for particular bunch of employees by creating a new rule, we can do this on ACA 1095C Class Wise Configuration.
Hi all - there are many employees that are in a class of 0.5 or higher that are still showing a 1E. Could you please check into this and verify the codes are corrected before stating it is done? Thanks!
Hi Jennifer Leugers,
We have spot checked few employees which didn't get $0 cost due to following reasons -
1)The employee Han Le was was effective under class 3 that have value 0.5 or higher from 2017-11-05. As we consider first of following month for cost change, hence we are replacing cost only for Dec month
Employee Name | Effective Date | class3 |
---|---|---|
Han Le | 2017-11-05 | 0.5 |
2) Stuart Rogoff was not Enrolled/Eligible under HMO plan for April month, therefore his cost was not updated to $0 as he was terminated in April month & due to termination HMO plan offer got terminated.
Employee Name | Effective Date | class3 |
---|---|---|
Stuart Rogoff | 2017-04-18 | 1 |
3)The below employee was effective under class 3 that have value 0.5 or higher from 26 Feb 2017, therefore his cost was not updated for Jan & Feb month respectively
Employee Name | Effective Date | class3 |
---|---|---|
Christine Tabaco-Woo | 2017-02-26 | 1 |
Please let us know if you have any other queries regarding this.
Hi all - why is Denise Hildenberger getting a 1F?
Hi Jennifer Leugers,
Denise Hildenberger's eligible plan is Retiree HDHP PPO w/HAS which is not marked "Is Plan Minimum Value" on ACA customization. Hence 1F code is displaying.
"Is Plan Minimum Value" marked 1E code will reflect.
Thanks,
Revan
Hi all - for those that are .5 FTE and higher, the client wants the code to be 1A and not 1E. Is there anyway we can do the from the backend instead of through the corrections spreadsheet (as there are hundreds of them).
Hi Jennifer Leugers,
Yes, We can do this from the backend instead of through the corrections spreadsheet.
But I will share you the employee list within some time to confirm before doing from backend.
Thanks,
Revan
Hi Jennifer Leugers,
I have filtered out the records in tab of "ACA 1095C Codes" on below conditions which records count is 13753. Please confirm, is it correct for doing 1A code instead of 1E from backend?
Filtered Conditions:
Class3 > 0.4
Line14Code='1E'
Employee Eligibility Status= All (Partime & Full Time)
Please find the Filtered excel sheet on ftp path /users/workterraaca/ACA2018/WT-12485
Thanks,
Revan
Hi Jennifer Leugers,
As per your request for processing 1095C's on this company,we have made following customization.
1. Create a class wise rule "Class 3 FTE Zero Cost" for whole year with cost as $0.
2. Made changes in back-end to apply this rule only for employees who are are eligible for HMO plan. So employees whose classes are >= 0.5 and eligible for HMO plan will get cost as $0 and line 14 as 1A.
3. Employees whose classes are >= 0.5 and not eligible for HMO plan will not get $0 and 1A.
4. Costs are updated from 1st of the following month in which they were eligible for class >=0.5 rule.
Observations after these changes: Please confirm these before sending out the files.
1. Employee who are part time and fall under "Class 3 FTE Zero Cost" are getting 1A.
2. Medimpact plan is ACA plan but not selected in the report customization.
3. Employees whose classes are >= 0.5 and not eligible for HMO plan will not get $0 and 1A.
We have made changes in back-end for this request. Please confirm these before sending out the files.
Please refer latest run for verification.
Hi all - here are the corrections that the client is requesting along with the attached (standard password). There is no way I have time to make these corrections from the UI so I'm hoping you all can find a way to do them from the back end or through bulk import.
We first need to have the Dev. Team change the 1E code to 1A for all employees with an FTE of .5 or higher.
We also need to have the Dev. Team change the line 16 code from 2B to 2G for anyone with a 1A code. I noticed that the system puts a code 2B for employees that waived benefits. If they waived it should be 2G. Currently these employees are 1E, so that is why Step 1 needs to happen first. Too many to put in the correct sheet, once I filter there are 1354 records.
Anyone with a code 1H and left blank should be 2B. Also too many to list on the correction template.
Hi Jennifer Leugers,
We have imported the correction file. There were no Bad records related to correction import.
As per you earlier requests,we had set up 1A code only for those employees who were in class 3>=0.5 and were eligible for HMO plan.
However, as per your latest comment of changing 1E to 1A for all employees with an FTE of .5 or higher,we have removed the condition of HMO plan. So now all the employees whose class3 >= 0.5 will get 1A.
Additionally,we have added two conditions to update the following:
1. Line 16 to 2G if line 14 is 1A and line 16 is 2B
2. Line 16 to 2B if Line 14 is 1H and line 16 is blank
We have re-run the reports applying user correction and we have spot checked some of the employees.
Please refer latest run for verification.
Please let us know if you need any more changes.
Note: There are some discrepancy related to name and address.
You all are awesome - thank you so much for doing this. I'm reviewing the file now.
Hi all - this client has individuals in classes Part-Time and NA in WORKTERRA but if they were enrolled in a Blue Shield plan at any point in 2017, they need a form (since the BlueShield plans are self-insured). Is there a way to define who those individuals are?
Hi Jennifer Leugers,
We did not find any class value named Part-Time and NA or any BlueShield plan in this company.
Is El Camino the right company where in we have verify.
Additionally we verified the eligibility rule set on the 1095C 2017 report and it is "All Status".So all eligible employees have been considered in this report.
Closing this ticket
Please change the dates for 1095C for El Camino to 2017 calendar year and then ok to run. Thanks!
