To achieve this,we need to create trigger to populate payroll file no automatically.
We are also checking from export side for any other way to populate values.

Also if we implement trigger then for employee login ,you need to set 'View Only' rights.So that employee could not change the payroll file no.

We will update you on this by tomorrow EOD.

Hrishikesh Deshpande the client has informed us that when an employee changes from Class 3 Company code to a different Class 3 Company code they are required to get a new File #. Since WORKTERRA now does the auto generation please add this into the auto generation structure that when an existing employee changes Class 3 values they get the next auto generated File #.

In case of Employees Class3 change we have to generate new Payroll File no.

Please consider following case and let us know your feedback on this.

For example,
If suppose we have added new employee with name Test, payroll number will generate as '035393'(just for example).
When an employee changes from Class 3 Company code to a different Class 3 Company code then what should be his new payroll file number,
1. '035393' + 1 or (If we did this then might be conflict will occurs as some other employee may have same payroll file no)
2. The latest payroll file no

This functionality will work for add employee and also for class changes as mentioned.

Verified attached scenarios on LB.

Found ISSUE :

Scenarios :

Pre condition : Payroll File No. is not exist for any employee within company

ISSUE 1 : Payroll File No is decremented on changing class 3 twice

1) Add new employee - Generated proper Payroll File No . 035393
2) Changed Class 3 for newly added employee - Incremented Payroll File No. with 1 - 035394
3) Changed Class 3 again for same employee

Actual Result : Payroll file No. is decremented with 1 . 035393
Expected Result : Payroll file No. is incremented with 1 from last Payroll File No . 035395

ISSUE 2 : If we added new employee after above scenarios , then wrong Payroll File No Generated ( 035393 ) . Ideally It should generated last Payroll File No incremented with 1

Rest are working Fine

As per our change request, Payroll File No. should be 035393 and after it is increase by 1 digit from 035393.
As of now on Stage - "Solomon Page" Company, Latest Payroll file no. is 99999998 . ( Verified from Back-end ) So, If we add any new employee or Change class 3 of employee then newly generated Payroll file no. is increase by 1 digit from 99999998.

Kindly, Let us know we should keep 99999998 as it is or we need to change Payroll file no to 035393 ?
