Concern: Import not working on stage

Cause: On Reinforced earth, user name generation uses last 4 characters of SSN. User name can be generated in combination of few first digits and few last digits of SSN. Last digits of SSN are getting append to first digits. The variable used to store these digits is not getting reset after each user generation, hence it is getting increased in length and throwing exception once variable being overflow. This code is working perfectly for 1 employee but fails for multiple employees.

Correction: We have corrected the code to reset the variable which stores the SSN digits.

Workaround:
The code fix will go on LB and stage in next week. Till then, you can change the settings on security to generate username, from last 4 characters to first 4 characters. We can regenerate the usernames later using SA utility if needed.

There’s something else happening as well. When I went to load the employees (as I did several times successfully a few weeks ago), it now gives me an “Import Failed” error message (see screen shot attached w/in email), but when I look in the GUI employee list or SA Toolbox Delete option, all of the employees I loaded are there, but none of them are getting core plan allocations and the SA Toolbox core plan allocation won’t give them the coverage either. If I go into any of their demographics & simply hit “Save” without making any change whatsoever, and create a QE for any person on any date, it correctly gives them all the core coverages they should be getting when I loaded them. It’s also doing this with group COB, so I think it’s something new and systemic.

Has something changed recently in Stage? How can this be corrected?

Hi Kira Hamilton,

Import still is still failing on stage because of WT-10897. We are reverting it from stage. Because of this issue import is completed but while showing status it get failed. This left the core plan allocation routine untouched after import.
I have tried to allocation LTD using SA toolbox on HSPL copy and I am able to allocate core plans. If you still found any issue related to core plan allocation please open separate ticket.

Import is working fine on stage after reverting WT-10897. We also have executed core plan allocation on main Reinfornced Earth stage.
