Following are the 3Cs:
Concern:
Reports for MAG getting executed with "No records found"

Cause:
While executing any standard report for first time a folder and a data source gets created with ID that a company has got in database. The data source has connection string which stores information about the company which it needs to refer. Once datasource is created for a company, it is never deleted unless done maually. The ID which company MAG has got currently, was taken by different company earlier. Hence, the data source too was refering earlier company.

Correction:
To fix the issue, we deleted the datasource manually. After executing the report, new data source got created referring MAG company and report executed successfully.

Please note that this issue is not a frequent issue and can occur at times, when a new company is added. Though this is a rare scenario, while adding any new company, deployment team can check if a folder with ID for new company already exists or not on Report Server. If yes, then that needs to be deleted before making the new company live.

During our analysis we have found that, on HSPL copy, we can see all the employees in "Employee Census" report and also in manual report as per given step. But we found no records in report on main company.

Hello Umesh Kadam,

I was searching for just any employees. Nothing specific. The search fields appear to have resolved itself. That number is now showing 253 employees. I know that our Implementation was working on updating the employee login this morning regarding another issue and that may have corrected the number of entries.

There's still an issue with the standard report. In order to reproduce the issue, access ben admin > standard reports > add new > report type = select Employee census > under Display and Group by fields = select/add First Name, Last Name, Social Security No., Gender, and Date of Birth > click preview. Here you will get an error No Records Found.

It's supposed to show 253 employees on the report, but instead it returns an error. Let me know if you need additional info.

There are 253 employees present for MAG and we can see 253 employees on "Search Employee" Page.
