I wanted to see if this would be an option. Currently we have a mapping of Country but it is the long name, and not the code. We are seeing the carriers Requiring this field in some Specifications and would like to see about adding 2 other mappings.
3 total including the existing:
Employee Country(Currently in Workterra)
Employee Country Code 2 (Would be a Proposed mapping with the 2-digit country Code)
Employee Country Code 3 (Would be a Proposed mapping with the 3-digit country Code)
I have lists I can provide. Currently we are going into the Data Transformation and changing the approx. 234 Countries to their respective codding for all 3 Coverage member tiers. is this possible?

Please note that this was raised March 2016 and it concerns one of our marquee customers, UND (University of Notre Dame). Whenever they add a member with an international address, it leads to file failure and there is a time consuming fix that needs to be applied to the data transformation.

If required we can update country codes for the client where this issue arises quite often manually before the actual fix goes into the system.

Rajendra Pawar We have a current error and I am not able to perform DTS on this file. I need the DEV Team to go into the EE, SP, and CH sub-templates and data Transform Poland to PL so I can send a correction file. I am not able to get this to work

Abhay Patil Thanks Abhay - I was under the impression that this was an enhancement request because we currently don't support it and your team is having to spend a lot of time manually changing the countries. However, I am concerned that there are errors and that you can't change the template to send the correct file. Can we touch base on this so I have a little more context?

We will need Damion M Velasquez to elaborate on this. I am not clear what error one would get. I went into DTS and the UI apparently allows me to transform Poland to PL. However I did not attempt to save the change. (Does the "save" give server error, Damion?)
This client UND aka Notre Dame consistently hires Employees who reside in a foreign country. In this case we send 834 5010 layout, and all positions/Segments are of a 'Fixed length' value. i.e. This new issue EE is passing Poland in the N402 position, and should be PL. I am not certain why, but when I go into the DTS, all I see is a Black pop up, and not the country DTS. I've been told to wait until it refreshes but have waited up to 8 minutes to no avail. The file failed HIPPA Syntax which means any records following the error could potentially not update at the carrier.
While we wait for any enhancement I need someone with the back-end Capability to go in and change Poland to PL on the EE, SP and Child Sub-templates for the Meritain Medical and Delta Dental Files.

Jennifer Reed - this appears more like a "performance" issue - the pop-up with too many country entries takes some time t populate - and I believe it just hung when Damion attempted to update it the last time.
