Question on LHP 1094C for IT Services

      Description

      Hi all -

      All of LHPs 1094Cs show either Yes or No on #23 for all 12 months. The client is asking why for their IT Services group, it switches from Yes to No from month-to-month.

      Could you please look into this and advise on the calculations?

          Hi Jennifer Leugers,

          Line #23 shows Yes marked when employer gives offer to 95% employees otherwise it will be marked as No.

          So for January, April and May months offer is not given to 95% of employees so No option is marked. for remaining months (Feb, Mar, Jun, Jul, Aug, Sept, Oct, Nov and Dec) offer is given to 95% or more than 95% of employee hence Yes option is marked.

          If Line 22 Option C is checked and Part III (e) column has A or B then employer need to give offer to 70% of employees and so Line 23 will be marked as YES. As for all months offer is give to more than 90% of employees.

          FYI Nandkumar Prabhakar Karlekar,Sachin Hingole

          While calculating FTE count,we consider all employees who are employed for whole month.However if employee's EIN changes then we set 1H-2A for that months,however, employed for whole month flag remains set for these employees.
          So FTE count showed these employees as well.

          We have corrected this case and re-run 1094C.Now all 12 months are marked as Yes for MEC indicator.
          Please refer latest run dated "6/16/2016 2:04:03 AM" of report 1094-C LHP IT Services LLC.
