KenTon 1094C - checking C on their form

      Description

      Hi all -

      When would we automatically check C on a 1094C form?

      Ken-Ton is questioning why they wouldn't have C checked especially since they are using transitional relief and have 2I for some of their employees.

      Additionally -

      I don't see why they wouldn't have D checked. They only have 138 times that they are showing a 1H for an employee where line 16 isn't 2B or 2D. This is less than 1%.

      Could you please review as I owe the client an analysis.

          Hi Jennifer Leugers,

          Line 22 Option C is not automated.
          But this is customizable from "ACA 1094C Parameters" tab available in ACA customizations tab.
          Make sure to provide A or B in "Section 4980H Transition Relief Indicator" column,
          when you are selecting YES for "C. Section 4980H Transition Relief" on Line 22.

          Line 22 Option D will be checked when employer provides (1A or 1E) offer to 98% or more than 98% of employees.
          In KenTon, employer has given offer to 93% (Verified this percentage from database) of employees hence Option D is not checked.

          Please let us know if any action required from our side.

          I don't understand how you verified it from the database. I verified it from the analysis and I come up with greater than 98% so please provide the data you reviewed and how you came to that calculation.
