      Description

BCC is trying to run the provider wise report for both Community Development Commission and City of Walnut Creek. The self-insured components are not exporting on the provider wise export (see attached). It is just showing the amounts by benefit type. Please advise asap.

            Hi Debbie Kulling,

We checked Providerwise Extract File Template on City of Walnut Creek and Community Development Commission companies on Production and below are our findings

            1) We have checked Invoice Amount and Total Billed Amount exported on Provider Wise Export file . Both are matching ($414005.34)
Self Insured Component amounts will not export separately on provider wise file . It gets combined with Total Amount and export provider wise for specific benefit types.

            2) We also found that Data Transformation for 'Benefit Type' field was not proper on both these companies. (PFA screenshots for Original DTS) so file was getting exported with improper benefit type names against total amounts.
we have corrected these data transformations for 'Benefit Type' field on Providerwise Extract File Template of City of Walnut Creek and Community Development Commission companies on Production . Now file will export with proper benefit type names (PFA screenshots for Corrected DTS on both companies)

            3) We have pulled Providerwise Extract File from City of Walnut Creek TEST company on Production. (PFA Providerwise Extract File_CWC_HSPL.xls ) . Please go through the same and let us know in case of any queries.

            Note:

            • Data Transformations on Billing Data Type export templates should be checked always when these templates are cloned from one company to another.
            • Also Provider Name will not export on file as Providerwise Benefit Provider Name field is not mapped on subtemplate

This is a HUGE issue. The whole point of the provider wise export was for the self insured components to export on that file. It does no good for the export to only show by benefit type

            Hi Debbie Kulling,

This issue is similar to WT-7353.

            Concern:
The self-insured components are not exporting on the provider wise export. It is just showing the amounts by benefit type.

            Cause:
Currently while generating invoice, for self insured components, plan provider is getting saved in database. While exporting, provider value from database is getting referred which is currently of plan provider.

            Correction:
We are working on the fix to save the self insured component providers in database wherever required. This fix will need a day or two to get tested and deployed on Production.

            There are following solutions:

            • After fix getting deployed, regeneration of invoices will be required.
            • Making change in export logic to fetch the respective self insured component provider. Same way as we do while editing cost on UI.
            • Doing corrections for already generated invoices. This will avoid regeneration of invoices and change in export logic as this issue will get fixed in 1-2 days. We have correction script ready which will set the proper provider value for self insured components.

Have replied the same to Monika and we are waiting for the approval on corrections. Will do the corrections immediately after getting the approval. Please let us know which solution works for you.
