Rates are calculating for plan (Additional Spouse/ Domestic Partner Life non smoker) with both non smoker and smoker rates.

when testing the smoker election to YES rate is 1.86, however when selecting the non smoker affidavit the rate is 3.66 including the 1.80 non and 1.86 smoker.

1.80 + 1.86= 3.66

please assist.

We have tested Additional Spouse/ Domestic Partner Life plan(rates,demographics,age,enrolment history etc) here are the following observations:-

1. Even if the "Coleman McKinney" dependent changed to tobacco user "Yes" "No" and initiated QE >> Enrol it >> selecting tobacco user Y/N ( the rate remains the same 3.66 only for this employee the rate does not change)
2. In SA Utility the rates are showing correct but after re-calculating it it does not reflect in EE >> enrolment summary.(Please check the screenshot)
3.We tried the same scenarios for the other employees:-

• Ford Richmond
• Cross Julie

Tried different scenarios like initiate QE, changing dependent to tobacco user >>Yes/No
(for smoker / non smoker rates are calculating accordingly for this employees).

Please find 3 Cs below,

NOTE: We have also scanned others employees having same issue. We found two more employees; named Brenda Johnson and Jon Warren, and corrected their rates too and now employee have correct rate.

Sheetal Bodhale, could you please check this at your end that why there are two entries of 'Does your spouse or your domestic partner use tobacco product' present for same employee?

Hi @suraj,

We have verified data from back end for mentioned employee.Data for 'Does your spouse or your domestic partner use tobacco product' field is inserted through general mode irrespective of page id on which field is present.

That is causing issue while calculating rates .Can you please look into this today as client is having call today?

As per our primary analysis, the issue occurred during the correction under WT-5153.
We are investigating more on this and let you know the final root cause tomorrow EOD.
