UND (University of Notre Dame) - HRA/HRB QE Code on the file.

      Description

      The CI when approved gets a code, but the HRA and HRB do not.

      Their system requires a QE code for every change. HRA and HRB plans are not going over with a QE code. As per a meeting with Damion and Jenni, this is made in to a WT ticket for Development to find a solution to.

      I would like Devp to tell me if the following could be a quick fix.
      Devp to update HRA and HRB enrollments in the database to inherit the QE code from their parent medical enrollments. Once done, EDI will be able to pull the QE code from HRA and HRB enrollments.
      In the long run, we could have the auto enroll benefits to ALWAYS inherit QE from their parent enrollments on which they are contingent.

          This is also for UND: if the team can also look on how to achieve QE codes for the HRA benefits. From EDI perspective we dont get a code because the plan is contingent on a Medical plan. The QE is based off of the Medical Plan ONLY. UND would like to see QE codes on these benefits in relation to the elected Medical benefit.

          We need to work with Enrollment team to achieve this, I remember that we have worked on this in past to get QE codes on banner payroll file and at that time we had revised logic for contingent benefits to get codes on file. However that seems to be not working correctly and we will check this and get back to you.

          Jyoti Mayne Can we check this, HRA benefits is not getting code on file because it is contingent on Medical and medical requires admin approval. When admin approves medical then HRA is getting added into system, instead it should have added already along with Medical with pending status.

          Recent example :Tyler O'hara (empid: 901882086)

          Also, Can we make data correction as mentioned by Abhay for below plans to get codes from their parent medical enrollment if they are added into system with Review change approval mode

          Please find below 3Cs,

          Concern HRA and HRB plans are not going over with a QE code
          Cause HRA plan is force contingent on Medical plan. For 2017 HRA plan, "Enrolled In" macro is added in eligibility.
          For "Enrolled In" macro case only, system is not adding child plan election (i.e.HRA) with parent plan (i.e.Medical) QE mode.
          Correction We have fixed code for this and changes are at database level. We deployed this fix on UND main company at Stage and Production.

          Note: We have scanned all employees for HRA and HRB plans and found 14 employees affected who were missing code. We have corrected their data and our testing for them is in progress. Please find attached list for the same WT_8282_Affected_Employee_List.xls. Please confirm.

          A record for HRB passed in last night production file and had a QE CODE!!!!Joseph Gaboury haqd a Qualifying event and received an 07 in the file. Once your testing is final please let us know and we can close out the ticket

          Verified the affected employees along with New Hire Enrollment and Qualifying Event scenarios on QE Illusion Banner HRA 2017 file. QE codes are populating correctly on export file.

          I cloned the template that passes these benefits, and set to Full File. The list of Employees that you mentioned are getting the proper codes. There are 3 not getting a code but this is expected as the Event Name is Open Enrollment. This event does not have a code and should be NULL>
