      Description

      Hi all -

I ran the SuperHeat forms out today and they are showing blank in line 16.

Could you please advise as to why?

      Thanks,
      Jen

          Hi Jennifer,

For company 'Superheat FGH' , we observed that on ACA Parameter screen "Consider W2 Wages As"
was not set. Currently we have set it as "Gross Annual Salary" and Rerun the reports.

Please refer latest Run and review it. Let us know if any further change or information is needed

          Thanks,
          Smita

Hi all - I agree with the 1H and not sure why we are showing 1E. The new hire rule is FOM following 60 days so if she was hired on 2.23.16, she shouldn't get benefits until 5.1.16.

          From the client -
Example: Summer Mendenhall – started 2/23/2016 and terminated employment 3/30/2016. For some reason, March on the attached form is showing 1E/2B which tells me we offered her coverage but she didn’t work the whole month. The dates seem to be off as we wouldn’t have offered her coverage until 5/1/2016 but the form states otherwise. Do you know why WorkTerra would have populated a 1E for this month? We believe the entire form should be 1H with Feb showing 2D and March showing 2B. I’m worried the same issue might happen next year if we can’t determine why it happened this year.

          Hi Jennifer Leugers,

One of the employee was being deleted from the system and it had correction records which was causing issue while running reports. We have re-run the reports now the employee Summer Mendenhall is showing 1H/2D for Feb and March according to the 60 days waiting period.
Refer latest run 3/9/2017 7:53:36 AM.
As per the codes correction imported into the system the codes have been changed from the previous run. Attached is the file of previous (2/27/2017 1:55:49 PM - Run 1) and latest run (3/9/2017 7:53:36 AM - Run2) comparison. Refer ACA 1095C Code Comparison.xls

Hi all - still have more questions on these forms. Why if someone is not employed for the whole month are we still showing a 2D code? Shouldn't it be 2B or 2A? Example employee - Summer Mendenhall but there seems to be a ton of them.

          From IRS :
2A : if the employee was not employed on any day of the calendar month. Do not use code 2A for a month if the individual was an employee of the ALE Member on any day of the calendar month. Do not use code 2A for the month during which an employee terminates employment with the ALE Member.

2B: Employee not a full-time employee. Enter code 2B if the employee is not a full-time employee for the month and did not enroll in minimum essential coverage, if offered for the month. Enter code 2B also if the employee is a full-time employee for the month and whose offer of coverage (or coverage if the employee was enrolled) ended before the last day of the month solely because the employee terminated employment during the month (so that the offer of coverage or coverage would have continued if the employee had not terminated employment during the month).

          Example:

          Employee name: Summer Mendenhall
          Employment Date: 02/23/2016
          Termination Date: 03/30/2016
New hire waiting period: First of month following XX month from Date of Hire
          XX days =60
Benefit eligible effective date is: 05/01/2016

So this employee will get 1H/2D for Feb and March month because this employee is on Limited Assessment period.
System can’t send 2A because this employee is employed for some day in March.

          System can send 2B because
This employee has not received any offer in this month.
This employee is not enrolled for MEC plan for some day of this month.

As per our understanding this is a correct scenario we are processing. Please let me know what code need to be furnished in this scenario if Employee is terminated in the limited assessment period.

Please provide you inputs on this we will provide the mentioned codes from you for this scenario
