Hello Chris Ellenberger and Tracy Kot,

Going forward we will use this ticket for communication related to any suggestions for Symphony-Austin-CIGNA SSO EOI processing task. As The original ticket WT-7143 comment size increased in huge, which is not easy to read.

          Regards,
          Santosh

          Hello Chris Ellenberger,

We have implemented the given suggestions from client for WT-7143 and deployed the same on stage.
Could you please ask client to test this and provide us the feedback.

Note: While doing unit testing for Symphony Client I observed below scenario is not get handled in our implementation.

Scenario: If benefit plan is contingent (e.g Employee Voluntary Life Plan for Symphony) and employee do enrollment into it and again waive it before submitting EOI to CIGNA, then that waived plan still gets maintained on "SSO Pending EOI Details" page, which should not get submit to CIGNA.

On Local testing we didn't caught it, but luckily on Stage this get caught. And this is only applicable for contingent plan. We have identified the fix for it , and will deploy this fix on Monday i.e 2/27.

But you can still ask client for testing by conveying this once scenario status. As if they still have any suggestions we can work on that.

Also CIGNA is waiting for this feature Go Live, So I hope now apart from this there will be no suggestion and we can go Live after deployment of remaining above one scenario fix.

Tracy Kot : We have not received feedback from Austin for new design changes, Could you please take follow up from them as early as possible.

          Regards,
          Santosh

Hi Santosh Balid, I was able to test and I did find that the STAGE is not updated based on Austin's feedback. I do see you all make some great progress but the updates were not based on Austin Industries feedback.
Also, I get an ERROR when trying to get to EOI with CIGNA. I am attaching screenshots in a WORD document so that I can date the document. This is in STAGE NAME Austin OE 2017 for SSO 2.27.2017.docx

Reminder that Austin's Feedback report was that:
Workterra to assume the employee wants, yes to want to continue with enrolling in more life benefits, then at the confirmation page (at the end) or after the last benefit, for Workterra to offer the SSO page at the end IF the employee has a benefit pending EOI? Client wants this because the employees do not know which ones will pend EOI which is why the tool does it for them.

          Hi Tracy Kot,

About Error screen shown in document , it seems like error is at CIGNA end something like "Employee address provided is not valid" . That we can discuss with CIGNA , if same we got for real employees as well.

          Now about New design implementation:

This design is basically from Austins feedback only, just it has few suggestion addition from Symphony, but base is Austin. If you have any queries regarding this can we discuss those over the call , please share GTM with us. I will be available today(2/28) at 6:30am PST or tomorrow(3/1) at 6:30am PST.

          Hi Santosh Balid,

          Comments from Robyn (UHC Admin):

I’ve run through and all seems to be good but I do want to discuss #2 and #4 a little bit more:

#2: Currently in stage, the site does no action when CIGNA SSO button is pushed (no pop up and the page does not move forward). I just want to confirm, is this intentional because it is in stage?

          2. Clicking the SSO button freezes the enrollment and I’m unable to move forward or back
Santosh: You mean CIGNA SSO button , if yes then this is the expected behavior, because sso page url gets open into new window, so to move forward or back in workflow, employee needs to close that new window once he/she done with sso process.
Ok, in stage, should we expect the SSO page to pop up, or will that only occur in Production?
Santosh: Yes, Stage and Production behavior is same . Now I have handled such way that once employee clicks on "CIGNA SSO" two activities will happen in parallel, i.e employee will automatically get navigated to next page in workflow and SSO activity will happen in new window. So once employee clicks on "CIGNA SSO" button he/she will not see the "SSO Pending EOI Details" page again even after successful SSO and after closing the new SSO window.

#4 – I think that the main reason we requested this was due to the fact that we have a lot of EE’s that go online and elect in benefits, but they never complete their enrollment. At this time, we have no visibility to tell where in the flow the employee stopped. E.g. did they stop after electing life or did they get to the confirmation statement and not hit finish?

As an admin or a partner, if we have a new hire who is still in an incomplete status, but they elected life benefits as a new hire, is there any way for the admin or partner to know if the employee actually hit the “CIGNA SSO” button or not?

          4. Would it be possible to be able to track what is submitted in the enrollment history?
Santosh: I think it is not required , because in next page in workflow i.e in "Confirmation Statement" employee can see all his/her enrollment details including CIGNA EOI benefits, still if you wish to have this available on same Then we can add one more column and show status there as "Submitted to CIGNA" or "Pending EOI" like that. please suggest.
To provide some clarity on the request, we understand that the current benefits and elected (pending) benefits will appear on the confirmation statement, so we are not requesting any change on the confirmation statement. We were asking if tracking could be made in the view history on the enrollment to identify if the SSO was submitted.
Santosh: I think no need to have separate page for maintaining SSO submission history as this will again create lot more scenarios which will be more complicated. Here is my explanation why it is not required.

As per the new implementation, either employee can submit all his/her EOI enrollments to CIGNA in case of success or none of them will get submitted in case of any failure . This will be like a transaction, either whole will be successful or all get failure.

In case of any failure we will revert all of his/her EOI submission to CIGNA and employee will able to see below alert message.

          Thanks,
          Chris

          Hi Chris Ellenberger,

Please find my inline comments for the asked queries.

#2: Currently in stage, the site does no action when CIGNA SSO button is pushed (no pop up and the page does not move forward). I just want to confirm, is this intentional because it is in stage?

Santosh: When employee will click on "CIGNA SSO" button then employee should see below popup.

Even I did testing for Symphony on stage to send test scenarios to CIGNA, and I can see no issues with "CIGNA SSO" button. If they are having any issues then can we discuss this over the call.

*Santosh: Yes we do maintain status for all EOI eligible benefit enrollment i.e whether employee clicked on "CIGNA SSO" button or not, whether he submitted EOI to CIGNA successfully or not. Whether employee has waived off after enrolling or not.
We maintain these status at backed. And if Symphony need this to be converted into report which should send to CompanyAdmin, then Report team can work on this requirement and make this report available to Admin user. Please let us know, will create a jira for this and will assign it to Report Team.*

But here if you are talking about generic things like "at which position employee left doing enrollment or did they stop after electing any benefit e.g life, then this is completely unreleted to this enhancement, and if this is the requirement then Satya will be the point of contact for this.

Now let's talk about, how employee knows whether he has successfully submitted EOI to CIGNA or not.
This will be like a transaction either all get succeed or all get failure.
In case of failure employee can see below popup and no benefit will get submit to CIGNA.

If benefits get submitted to CIGNA then employee can see below popup and he/she can proceed for SSO.

Please let me know if still not clear, will discuss this over the call.
If required could you please arrange a call with Symphony on 3/6 or 3/7 at 7am PST.

Please let me know their convenient time if above time is not convenient to them.

I also confirmed that SSO EOI pop up box doesn't come up.
I used STAGE Austin OE 2017, I used Test Case TestSSO HSPL and when I enrolled in Voluntary Life, I did click on OK for the pop up that reads "If you have enrolled in all benefits for life .....etc", I clicked OK and no SSO EOI page comes up as it should. It used to work but something is broken as it doesn't work anymore. Also, I had given Austin's feedback that doesn't appear to have been considered. That was to offer that pop up box AFTER all voluntary benefits had been enrolled in because employees will not know if they have more enrollments that might require EOI.

Let me know what else you need but the SSO does not ever pop up.

          Hi Tracy Kot,

Please check for Austin company on stage. Also please check by creating new employee with all the filled details like SSN, emailid, addressfield, and so on.
Please see below image for your reference ,For "Austin" it executed successfully to me.

Regarding the client suggestion Implementation: We have implemented the given suggestions by Austin , if you read the WT-7143 from beginning , you will get idea of it.

*It seems like you are checking enrollment for employee through Admin/Partner login only. You haven't seen employee open enrollment workflow , Please create a new employee, start OE for the "Austin" company and then login for that employee and do enrollment in OE for CIGNA plans, you will notice at the end before confirmation page we have introduced new page will collect all the plan details eligible for EOI , and after click on "CIGNA SSO" button employee can submit all those details to CIGNA and do SSO.
Please refer below new page introduced in employee workflow*

Can we meet today 7am PST, please share the GTM.

Chris Ellenberger : Is it possible for you to attend this call , if Tracy Kot scheduled it for today. We can discuss for Symphony as well if you have any queries.

          Regards,

Tracy Kot, I also observed that sometimes the SSO popup not get appeared. But , my observation is when I hit the stage site at my morning time(IST), it works fine no issues, but when around 4PM IST I hit the satge site , due to site slowness, it doesn't work as expected, even problem is not only with SSO popup, the enrollment pages also not get refreshed as per the selected event.

          Hello Chris Ellenberger,

From our end we don't have any issue to push this release on production.
We are waiting for confirmation from you and Tracy Kot, for the production deployment.

We can move this fix on production on 3/21, please confirm I don't think even if we push it on production there should be any issue , as this is completely new for Symphony, while for Austin old feature is useless. Even if we push it on production , it will get tested thoroughly. Please advice. Chris Ellenberger and Tracy Kot , waiting for your confirmation.

For corrections to spouse issue : Aditya Vishwakarma will share the ETA soon.

          Hi Santosh Balid,
I ran through a test person in production and while it does successfully push me to the CIGNA page to complete my EOI, when I go back into Workterra, the page is not advancing (I tested with test person: Jackie Test), I get stuck on the SSO page with the only option being the back button or to click on the CIGNA SSO button again.

If I click on the CIGNA SSO button a second time, I will get an error message on the CIGNA popup (see screen shot), and the back button will take me to the previous page.

Just wanted to reach out and confirm what the process flow should be. After the CIGNA page pops up, should we expect a “continue” button on the Workterra page so that I can advance through the rest of the tunnel?

          Hi Robyn Adkison,

The reason why we not provided "Continue" button is that , this will allow a chance that employee will enroll into plan but never click on "CIGNA SSO" button, so we implicitly handle it, once employee clicks on "CIGNA SSO" button, we do two parallel steps, 1)Open SSO page in new window and 2)Navigate to next page(beneficiary) as shown in below image ,in workflow forcefully.

FYI, I have changed the password to Test@1234 ,of employee you mentioned, to test this and I didn't face any issue.

Please note that do not enroll into spouse or child CIGNA Life plan, as this is yet pending from our side, so you may face issues in sso., Now I have deactivated Child and Spouse plans for online EOI sso , so you will now not face any issues.

When you will do any such kind of testing please provide this info to CIGNA , so that they will treat this as test data and delete from their production , also do not keep test data on production for long time, please delete it once you did your activity

          Regards,
          Santosh

          Hi Santosh Balid,
Thank you for notifying CIGNA of my test person. I will not run another test person through the site for this.
How often does this feed into CIGNA? Is it an instant feed as soon as the user clicks on "CIGNA SSO" or does it store the information and send once a week?

For testing, we have some test classes in Symphony that is used for our internal testing. In your feed to CIGNA, is it possible to exclude these classes so that we may use them to test the production site without impacting the feed? These are in class 2 (Test FT & Test PT)

Thank you for deactivating the child and spouse plans for the online EOI as I had concerns that this is in production and it is not fully functioning. I know that the spouse and child life plans are currently in development, but we need to ensure that people who are using the site today will not run into this issue, where the system does not advance them to the next screens due to us still working on the resolution.

Thank you again for all of your help,
          Robyn

          Hi Robyn Adkison,

          Please see my inline response.

How often does this feed into CIGNA? Is it an instant feed as soon as the user clicks on "CIGNA SSO" or does it store the information and send once a week?

Santosh: As soon as employee clicks on "CIGNA SSO" button, this get submitted to CIGNA.

For testing, we have some test classes in Symphony that is used for our internal testing. In your feed to CIGNA, is it possible to exclude these classes so that we may use them to test the production site without impacting the feed? These are in class 2 (Test FT & Test PT)

Santosh: Yes, we can exclude those classes from CIGNA feeds, you can deselect those from CIGNA feeds , if you need co-ordination on this then please wrote to Vinayak Kulkarni vinayak.kulkarni@harbingergroup.com .

We need to ensure that people who are using the site today will not run into this issue, where the system does not advance them to the next screens due to us still working on the resolution.

Santosh: Now, this will not cause issue with any employee, as these plans are deactivated for online EOI through CIGNA SSO, now enrollment into these plans will be in similar way like previous.
I also checked the data from the date this feature gone live, and I observed no employee has enrolled into these plans for EOI till date, so no worry.

Apart from these , I would like to highlight that, the ongoing development is for Spouse CIGNA life plans only. As per communication with CIGNA , they do not provide Child plans EOI facility, so Child Life plan behavior will be same as previous in future too. If you have any concern regarding this, you can initiate a communication for this in the same email thread of dependent enrollment development communication going on with CIGNA peoples.

Also , I can see that you have not deleted that test employee(Test Jackie) from production, if your work is done, then please do the needful. If you have any problem while removing this, please let us know, we will create a request for deleting same.

          Regards,

I have deleted out the test person (Test Jackie) from the site and I have no concerns with the child life.

In regards to the plans that you have deactivated for the online EOI,I just wanted to confirm, have all plans (EE, SP, and Child) been deactivated in prod?
Our preference would be to roll this out to production after the spouse development is complete and all pieces are working.

          Hi Tracy Kot,

I can not close my own work, You need to close this ticket if Austin has no issues with implementation.

And it is pending for your feedback only, From Symphony side they had provided feedback long time back and they had closed main ticket "WT-7143" at the same time.

So , Please close it, as Austin already had turn on SSO on prod and they are using this feature on prod.
