Hi Alita Henderson,
We have checked for the Employee Matwale McKenzie whose enrollment went to PendingEOI as attached and found that approved coverage amount as "-1" in the system which should be "0" in case of pending EOI, because of that rate gets recalculated incorrectly on amount "-1" and "-0.02" cost populated on file.
Same scenario happened with other mentioned employee.

Now the employee got new enrollment for Voluntary Short Term Disability with proper cost, so on next file records will populate with proper cost.

Enrollment team will look into this and update.

Concern :Employee gets approved coverage amount as -1.

Cause : When employee is log in into system and completing its work flow, after clicking View Recommended Plans Employee gets enrollment with coverage amount as -1. Due to this it get rates in minus amount.

Correction : we are working on code fix. we will update you once code fix is done.

Have updated the minimum Coverage from $1 to "0" on both Voluntary Short Term Disability plans. Please refer below 3C's :

Concern: Employee is getting $-1 approved coverage amount with new hire mode and election pended for EOI, even though Guarantee Issue amount is not set for new hire mode

Cause: If GI is not set for new hire mode, system internally considering -1 as GI value and therefore approved coverage amount is getting set as -1 and election pended for EOI.
Due to this -1 approved coverage amount, rate value is coming in minus.

Correction: We have fixed code for this scenario and will update you once it is deployed on stage and production.

Note: We have scanned all enrollment and found following employees who got -1 approved coverage amount, election pended for EOI and rate in minus amount.

Please provide your approval on this correction. We will remove pending EOI and set Applied and Approved coverage amount same and calculate their rates.

There no impact of update in minimum Coverage from $1 to "0" on this code.

We have tested this on Wt Stage - Five Guys for Exchange - this is working well

• when GI applied to a plan - system shows a right applied and approved coverage on the enrollment screens (not -1)
• when NO GI is applied - system allows employee to enroll with any available coverage amounts available without sending the election request to PENDING EOI
• above scenarios are tested with Exchange - New Hire | Qualifying Event and Open Enrollment modes

• we reproduced the issue first on stage (as the fix is not available there yet to understand the exact steps to test this fix on WT STAGE)

While doing the impact testing - we found below 2 issues (probably not resulting from this fix - but we need to look at them as well)

Code fix for this issue was deployed on 3/23/2017 on production.

But for EE 'Justin Lawless' enrollment was done on 3/20/2017.

We have scanned all employees and found only reported employee having this issue and corrected his enrollment and rate data.
