Prime HR simplified Cobra template uses new cobra reporting approach. And this approach has got this OAD issue.
This is already reported to you, please refer attached emails.

We are now analyzing this issue for possible solution. We will share details & ETA to you soon.

Samir, Sachin Khandge, Vinayak Kulkarni, Rohan J Khandave, We cannot have this issue. It is required by regulation to send a COBRA notice to overage dependent. This scenario is working with old implementation then why not with new one?

Also as per my knowledge this implementation is love since last 7-8 months why we didnt fix the issue till now?

Hi Amit,

Yes, This implementation is live since last 7-8 months but this issue was reported in November.
Then we sent CCC for this issue & for correction we asked Dave's permission for code changes.
As we did not receive response on that, so we followed up to same email but may be due to OE load & issues, it got missed from both the sides. You can refer attached email for this.

We understand that this is critical issue & related to civil actions and tax penalties. We will get this resolved as early as possible. Meanwhile if you want OAD list from back-end then let us know.

Vinayak Kulkarni Yes we need a report of all missed overage dependents (who are enrolled in the selected plans).

1) creating Overage Dependent Rule on Event Builder and Overage Dependent scenarios on for test employees with different tiers (EE+CH, EE+2CH, EE+SP+CH).
2) Verified these scenarios on NEW HR Simplified COBRA Participant file.

Overage Dependents records are exported on file with proper COBRA Reason.

Also verified WT-687 along with this

Below are 3Cs for OAD issue.

Concern: OAD are not populating on New Cobra Templates.

Cause:
1) Event builder rule is not defined: For new cobra feeds, event builder rule must be created for OAD. Please see screen shot for OAD event rule.

2) We have also identified that, there are some code changes required to populate Cobra members if enrollment is terminated by Midnight service.

Correction:
1) Please create event in event builder for OAD.

2) In Addition of creating OAD event rule, we also need to do code changes to populate OAD on cobra files.

Verified COBRA scenarios on Prime HSPL Company and it is working as expected..
Scenario for Employee election dead and Overage dependent scenario is fixed now.

This issue was exists only for new cobra reporting type which is based on event builder. Older cobra logic does not have issues with OAD.

If company is using new cobra reporting approach based on event builder then they must have cobra event defined in event builder. So to report OAD they must have OAD event configured as shown as attached, i just attached it.

We have also deployed this on Prime Healthcare Production. For other clients , we will deploy it in regular deployment process

Is there a way to know who needs to add this? I am worried that the Admins are not aware of this - If this is new thing, then we need to make this a priority and figure out what clients are in need.

I have added this to Production but I will need assistance on adding this to the carrier feed. Can someone please help with this ASAP?

There is no need to add it on carrier feed, feeds will start picking up OADs once you add it on company.

But, please make sure that the reason "OAD" that you have put in this cobra event is expected.
I believe it should be "DC" instead of "OAD" , but confirm with client before updating it.

And yes, this is new thing but we have already provided set up guide for this & it has all these things are well mentioned.

No, we do not need to do anything from EDI perspective.
Everything is set up properly & next file should pick up OADs.

Amit Thorve - Someone will need to update the Code. I'm not sure what the code should be on the file. This would be based on HR Simplifed template - Maybe someone from EDI can assist - Van Nguyen can you help?
