      Description

      Hi Dev -

I need some assistance with a set up - Here are the rules:

      1. New Hires - Benefits are effective 1st of the month following 1 month from DOH.

      2. Rehires 1 - This set of rehires are based on the term date - If they are rehired within 13 weeks from their term date, they will get benefits effective date of rehire.

      3. Rehire 2 - This set of rehires are based on the term date - If they are rehired outside of 13 weeks from their term date, they will get benefits effective 1st of the month following 1 month from Rehire date.

I have created a New Hire window for just Active employees. I am expecting this to only apply to new hires and not consider rehires.

For the Rehires 1 and 2, I have created rules that are driven off of the "Other" status within the "Change Status" section. These rules are only for Rehire status. Please see screenshot:

This works to some extent - It opens the window correctly BUT the auto enrolled benefits are not showing with the correct date for Rehire 2. I am thinking that the plans are triggered BEFORE the additional eligibility is ran. Can you confirm my thought? I am not sure how else to drive these 2 different rehire rules.

      Thanks!
      Jenni

            Hello Jennifer Johnson

We tested the below scenarios for under week 13 rule and over week 13 rule set in company information and following are our observations.

            1. We changes EEs Active status to Terminattion date with effective date of 1st may 2017

            2. Then again we navigated to change status menu>> and we changed the status of EE to 'rehire' and added reason for it(other than under13 i.e. rehired again) and entered effective date 15th august 2017 .
To note: Here date of re-hire is 15th Aug 2017

            3. Now as per the rules set for re-hire "First of the month following XX month from the date of hire" the EE is getting the correct date for re-hire enrollment mode i.e 1st Oct 2017 ( as date of re- hire was 15th Aug 2017)

4.For auto enrollment plans the effective dates are also showing correctly,i.e. for "Basic Employee Life" effective date is set as *10/1/2017 *refer figure above

Seems like the system is behaving as expected.

Could you please check and verify at your end, and if still problem persist please get back to us with a copy of an attachment,it would be helpful for us for our further analysis.

Do let us know if you have any queries. Thank you!

Thank you all - I had updated the plan rules so this may be why you were able to see it correctly. Client is testing at this time.
