We have checked above, this is gray out because of the above document has been sent to the singer. Once we sent document to the signer, we are not allowing to edit field mapping.

If we all to edit the field mapping that would be causing issue for existing sent documents.

We can show some informative message once document is sent.Please let us know your view on this and what message should we shown?.

We were able to edit field mapping before sending document to singer.

So Once this is send to Sender A, and it is not editable after it is sent. How can we edit the template if we want to send this to another Sender B and want to make changes to it?

Monika Demla,

We will not be able to make any changes in Fields mapping once document is sent.
We can make changes to other fields except fields mapping.

So user have to delete the template or Archive it and create a new one.
We definitely need a message that - Documents are unavailable to edit after it is sent and why does this says above? may be add the sentence in red here

We can put your message. But we can edit the document after it is sent, but we can not update the mapping of the fields. In this case, is the above message is correct?

Hi all,

Adding in UX to this thread for their advisement on the placement and wording.

But to add my two cents:

• Text: "Mapped Fields are unavailable to edit once it is sent."
• Location: Below the "Mapped Fields" section
• UX: I would also grey-out or disable the arrow controls as well
  • Aruna Raheja will provide the icons and send over

Have a look at this.

This is how we are showing the disabled state for form fields and system fields.

Also, we have placed this info message "Form Fields and System Fields are unavailable to edit once document template is sent."

Is it ok for you? Kindly Confirm.

Environment: Preprod
Login: Admin
Template Type: PDF and HTML

The note is added below for HTML and PDf file type. refer screen captures for the same.
Now, admin will identify that once document is sent mapped fields cannot be changed.

This is applicable to HTML and PDF file type only with TEXT this can be edited and updated both.
