Overview
As a User, I need to see in the form when I do not complete a required field. There needs to a be a visual queue when I first access the form that shows I need to complete a field before submitting. But then when I try to submit a form with a non-completed required field, I am given a message and UI treatment to show what field I must complete.
Entry Criteria:
- Candidate enters the document.
- The form has required fields.
Acceptance Criteria:
- There shall be a visual queue to the users when there is a field that is requirement to be completed.
- UX to determine the visual treatment based on UX standards.
- The visual queue shall remain visible until the field is completed (Stretch).
- When a User tries to submit a form that has a missing required field completed, the form shall not be submitted and the following shall happen:
- A messages appears the User know that they did not complete all required fields.
- Within the message, the name of the required field will show.
- On the form itself, there shall be a new visual treatment showing that it requires completion.
- A messages appears the User know that they did not complete all required fields.
- Once the fields are completed that are required, the User shall be able to submit the form.
Exit Criteria:
- Candidate completes the fields that require completion.
- Candidate submits the document.
UX will review after development is complete.
