We discussed this issue with team, the salary changes has no impact on the premiums.

For some records The 'Covered Salary Volume' has updated. Salary is part of employee data and for reports we refer the most recent employee data i.e. one which is present in main table.

Main table does stores the updated salary with effective date but referring employee's history while processing a report will be time consuming process. Hence, salary present in main table is referred and displayed without checking the date from which it will be effective.

Please refer ticket WT-10130 in which we have asked enrollment team to save salary details against cost assigned.

However, in the report the Enrollment count has updated. Development team is working on it and will update you accordingly.

We cross checked this issue at our end.

We generated the latest report for October month.
After comparing the Total cost on Enrollment and Billing Summary report, the cost appears to be correct.

We have confirmed this for all the life plans.
The cost appearing on Enrollment report is as per the payroll schedule of the EEs (Semi-Monthly) and the cost appearing on the Billing summary report is Monthly cost.
The enrollment count in both the reports is also the same.

We need to have the covered salary that is currently effective. How long would it make that change?

Apologies for delayed response.
We will need help from enrollment team for this. This is similar to age band requirement, where reports need this data to be saved against the cost that was calculated using it. We need the covered salary to be saved against the cost that was calculated from it.This requirement is also there for Invoice Management. In WT-10130, we have asked the Enrollment team to provide an update on whether they can schedule the changes related to this or not.

Following are the 3C's:

Concern:
Billing summary report is referring salary which is effective from 1/1/2018.

Cause:
For employee related data like salary, reports refer the data from main table. While processing, reports does not check from when the change is effective, neither it refers the history table to get the old data. In this scenario, report is being pulled for 2017 and the salary saved in payroll main table is effective from 1/1/2018. If we refer history table for payroll, we may get employee's salary which is effective from 2017. But pulling accurate data by referring history table will have huge impact on processing time as report is pulled for bulk of employees and not for single employee.

Correction:
Reports need the covered salary to be saved against the cost that was calculated from it. Enhancement from Enrollment Team will be required to store Covered Salary.
