Age Rule: employee with a future birth day/month - coverage or rate changes to be considered while continuing in Enrollment Tunnel

Essentially any employee with a future dated DOB experiencing a rate or coverage reduction will not see the appropriate rate or coverage in the site during OE or QE unless a change is made to the benefit. In the scenario where an employee makes a change – the future dated benefit effective date recognizes and accounts for the new value. However, in a scenario where no change is made other than continuing through the enrollment tunnel on that benefit page – the system doesn’t recognize the new rate or coverage as the DOB service hasn’t run.
