Issue: Yesterday I updated the User Defined Field- Life and ADD Insurance 50K field, for all active employees. I needed to choose “not elected” or “elected”. I made this BCC Admin Change effective 4/1/17 for all employees.
I inadvertently updated this for three terminated employees and this caused the termination date to change for these employees resulting in credits on the bill for Oct.
Please see Helen Carnes as an example. Her history shows that changing her UDF caused her termination date to change from 6/30/17 to 4/1/17. I tried to undo the error by using a BCC admin change effective 4/1/17 again and removing the UDF selection. This did not correct the error.
Please see the billing adjustments below that should not be occurring.

- EE 'CARNES HELEN' was active and got election with effective date 04/01/2017 in core plans.
- She was terminated with 06/01/2017 effective date.
- So election was terminated as per termination rule as:
Effective Date Termination Date Plan Name 04/01/2017 06/30/2017 Life Insurance
- Then with retro date QE '04/01/2017' on 2017-09-07 05:59:42.120, employee data change has been made.
- It resulted in updating elections termination date as follow:
Effective Date Termination Date 04/01/2017 04/01/2017
- Her details at this point of time were:
Employee Status Effective Date Status Change Date Terminated 04/01/2017 06/01/2017
- So our concern is, if EE is Active on 04/01/2017 effective date then what EE status has to be considered while processing enrollment data. Pleas check this EE history details and let us know those are correct or not?

If EE is Active on 04/01/2017 effective date then in this condition it will treat the employee as terminated, so the status would be terminated.
This is the system behavior and it is considering the latest employee history record, and for this employee the latest record is with terminated status.

If EE is Active on 04/01/2017 effective date then in this condition it will treat the employee as terminated, so the status would be terminated.
This is the system behavior and it is considering the latest employee history record, and for this employee the latest record is with terminated status.
