      Description

      Hi,

      Per the client:

The newest problem I am having is that after an EE has enrolled in a Medical plan, the Admin Fee is not dropping from the Confirmation Statement. The test person I have been using to test this is ADMIN TEST.

I have attached the print screens that shows the Admin Plan correctly displaying when I have waived medical (first two screen shots) but then does not drop the Admin Plan from the Confirmation Statement when the EE elects a medical plan (third and fourth screen shots).

Additionally, I believe this issue has caused an error with the loading of the system. This issue has caused the enrollment of over 600 Employees in the Admin Fee plan, when they should not have been in the plan at all. Attached you will find a list of all of the employees incorrectly placed in the Admin Fee plan. When the issue has been resolved, could you please have Development remove their enrollment from the Admin Fee plan?

Please note, we need to submit the UAT this Friday (10/27), if you could please take a look at this and let us know what we can do to fix this, it would be most appreciated.

      Thank you!
      Kira Hamilton

          Hi Kira Hamilton,

          Please find below detailed analysis

Concern After an EE has enrolled in a Medical plan, the Admin Fee is not dropping from the Confirmation Statement
Cause For current plan eligibility rule (i.e. "Admin Fee"), 10 medical plans are selected under "Additional Eligibility Criteria" of generic eligibility rule such that employee should not be enrolled in given 10 medical plans.
Correction Please remove these 10 plans from "Additional Eligibility Criteria" section and select them under Plan Level Contingency with "Contingent plan rule" as "Eligible if NOT enrolled in ANY selected contingent plan design", it will work, we have tested the same on HSPL copy.
Please find below attached screenshots for suggested customization :

We are working on correction of affected enrollments.

          Thanks and Regards,
          :: Umesh Kadam

          Hi Kira Hamilton,

There are 678 active enrollments are present for "Admin Fee" plan. Out of them 40 employees do not have enrollments for selected (i.e. selected plans in additional criteria) medical plans and 638 employees have active enrollments in selected medical plans so we need to term these 638 enrollments.

As per our analysis, term date for these 638 elections should be the day before effective date of enrollment in medical plan.

Please let us know what should be the term date for these enrollments? And also let us know if you want to roll out these changes on export file.

          Thanks and Regards,
          :: Umesh Kadam

          Hi Umesh Kadam,

Per an email received from Jennifer H. at BCC:

The solution from Development worked. THANK YOU!

Per the second part of the message from Development. I agree that 40 employees are correctly enrolled in the Admin Fee plan, as they are not enrolled in a Medical plan. Development can use 9/30/17 as the term date for those incorrectly enrolled in the Admin Fee plan.

Please clarify the question "let us know if you want to roll out these changes on export file." Would Development then produce a file of all of the terms from the Admin Fee plan?

Just as an FYI, our admin team is in the process of enrolling employees who have elected a Medical plan into Rx plans. This seems to also be changing the incorrect Admin Fee, so the total number of terminations development will need to do will decrease.

          Thank you,
          Kira Hamilton

          Hi Umesh Kadam,

Will you be able to term the employees that are incorrectly enrolled today? Again, the effective date to use to term is 9/30/2017.

          Thank you,

          Hi Kira Hamilton,

Regarding question "let us know if you want to roll out these changes on export file", means after terming records from backend they will impact export files such that records will roll out on export file. In this case, development will not produce file manually but schedules feeds will be impacted.

For question in recent comment, Yes, we will term the employees that are incorrectly enrolled today.

          Thanks and Regards,

          Per the client:
I have checked with our EDI team, there is no need to roll out the changes on an export file.

          Thank you,

I don't think the records were deleted from the billing table. When I look to see how many employees are enrolled by using SA toolbox I only see 41. But when BCC runs the bill January 2018 bill there are still 500 employee enrolled in the admin fee plan.

I really need this corrected today. The group is going live on Monday 11/13
