Per the client
TIBCO HR is requesting screen shots of what happens when a QE event is created between the end of OE and the end of the year when an employee goes through the system to make updates.
I have been testing QE’s that will happen after the close of open enrollment. It appears that the system does not do anything with future enrollments for clients that have had plan changes for the new plan year.
Medical – two new plans for 2018 – all EE’s rolled into CDHP II plan
Dental- One New plan for 2018 – all EE’s rolled over (previously had two options for 2017)
Vision – One new plan for 2018 - all EE’s rolled over (previously had two options for 2017)
TIBCO – stage
TEST NEW – went through OE and elected benefits for 2018. Created life event effective 11/13 (marriage). I went through life event, I clicked on the “cancel” in pop up box that appears when I added spouse to the medical, dental and vision plans. NO CHANGES to my 2018 elections were made see attached.
I then went through and clicked on the “oK” in the pop up box medical and no changes were made either.
Please advise how we should manage QE’s in the period between end of OE and end of current plan year.
