      Description

We have the "next fiscal year" set on salary increases. The salaries were imported before OE on 9/20 with an effective date of 11/1/2017 but the amounts did not update. Please correct the coverage amounts. Employee example Gary Atkins.

Also there appears to be employees with Basic Life and do not have Basic AD&D. This should have auto enrolled with the Basic Life. Please correct the records missing Basic AD&D and research root cause. Employee Examples: Daniel Carey, Zachary Hatcher

            Hi Hrishikesh Deshpande,

Concern 1 : Salary is changed but coverage is not updated.
Cause : During first date of open enrollment period the service 'Next Fiscal Year Salary Changes' updates the coverage for the respective employees whose salaries got changed and they avail the new coverage from 01/01/Next Year.
This service is not run on OE start day due to this Coverage of employee(whose salary is changed) is not updated.

we are not able to find why service is not run on OE first Day.
below are the customization for fiscal year

            OE Start Date : 22/09/2017
            OE End Date : 10/06/2017
Fiscal Year Start Date : 11/01/2017
Fiscal Year End Date : 10/31/2018

Concern 2 : Auto Core Plan 'Basic AD&D' is not allocated to some employee.
we tried below scenario to reproduce this issue.
            1. Changing demographics details of EE.
            2. Add new EE (which is eligibile to auto core plan)
but in above all cases EE get auto core plan.

so we need QA help reproduce above two issue.

            Thanks,
            Vinanti

            Hi Debbie Kulling,

Correction is done for both the issues.

#1 : Salary is changed but coverage is not updated.
Cause: As per discussion with Amruta Lohiya,
Fiscal year service is not yet automatically schedule. So before OE if you are loading salary data and
want coverage update from fiscal year then you need to convey dev team. So they will do it in OE setup

#2 : Auto Core Plan 'Basic AD&D' is not allocated to some employee.
Cause: We have observed that basic AD&D did not get allocated through import in initial load.
Because when we are trying from screen. Basic AD&D is getting properly.
So assigning this ticket to import team.

            Thanks,
            Vinanti

            Hi Debbie Kulling,

I checked the file imported on 09/20. Import type of template is 'Salary Change' and not 'Employee Data'. We don't do core plan allocation for salary change template type, but we only update coverage of already existing enrollments of salary based plans. Hence, core plan 'Basic AD&D' did not get allocated to employees by this import.

            Thanks,
            Snehal

            Hi Amruta Lohiya,

From import side this is system behavior and can be reject. Please check what should be the action from enrollments team.
