      Hi Development Team,

      We did a salary update/load back in 10/17/17 around open enrollment and after the salary loaded into WT, some employees supplemental life coverages were terminated afterwards. The employees listed above were reported with the terminated coverages. There may be more out there with the same issue. So far this is the only facility from Prime Healthcare with the issue. You can find the original salary file used during the load from following location:

      Y:\1.CLIENT\Prime Healthcare\0. OPEN ENROLLMENT\OE 2018\14. SALARY UPDATES\CHMC.txt

      The employees coverages were supposed to roll over to 2018. Normally a salary increase or update should have increased the amounts instead of terminating the coverages. The CE already checked the plan/rule settings and couldn't find anything that is triggering the termination. Can you check in the back end to see if there's something causing the issue? I have attached screenshots of the payroll and enrollment history for review.

      Client needs resolution soon if possible before the next payroll file. Let me know if you need additional info from me.

          Hi Jaideep Vinchurkar,

          Salary of EE 'Helen Manzano' updated/increased on 10/17/2017, due to which election got terminated with 12/31/2017.
          But it seems that import was failed on 10/17/2017 hence new election effective from 01/01/2018 was not get allocated to EE as per salary change.
          Could you check this from import side?

          We had an EDI discussion on this issue and may be caused by age band or the salary didn't load all the way through. Just wanted to point that out, because the two example employees affected share the same age around 56 yrs old. Another example is John Maxson, who is close to that age and coverage also terminated after the salary loaded.

          Hi Amber Love-Jones,

          Their next payroll file is due next week 1/25/18. If we need to re-enroll them manually we might have to go in that direction. Running the change/term report from 10/17/17-10/18/17 should help with the manual process. It doesn't seem like the age band is the cause of it, because I tried it a day ago by opening a qualifying event as suggested by the team to see if the same plan is available for the employees. The plans are still available for them to select.

          It might have been the load didn't go all the way through. I'm not sure. Or may have timed out at some point during the load. Prime Healthcare and some facilities file load are known to take a long while to process especially there's so many records. Hopefully the enrollments can be reinstated in the backend.

These employees need to be updated before the next payroll file is sent to CHMC - Kelly Kyle from that facility was on our weekly call this week to express her displeasure and has involved upper management at Prime.

          Below is our analysis for the root cause:
          Enrollments have "Coverage" which tell about the members and coverage amount of that enrollment. During the Eligibility routine (Salary Change routine to be specific) after the Import on 10/17/2017, coverage was inserted in wrong format for Employee : JOSEPH GARCIA.

          In Salary change Routine, Enrollments with coverage based on old salary are terminated and new enrollments with coverage based on new enrollments are inserted. This is a step by step process. Due to the wrong coverage as mentioned above for an Employee, a batch of employee had failure in completing the Salary change routine. So old enrollments were terminated but process stopped before inserting new ones.

          So, the employees from that batch including the examples given by you have terminated enrollments.

          PFA list of impacted employees CHMC Affected EE List.xlsx. We have corrected data on CHMC for HSPL on production. We have given access rights of this HSPL company to username 'alove' and 'AlexNg'.

          As there are around 291 employees, we request you to go through coverage listed in attached sheet for confirmation.

          After your approval, we will do same correction on live company on Monday 1/22 IST.

          Password will be share in separate mail.

          This is called as "Back-end Routine failure" after Import. We monitor this under WT-13017 on daily basis. Additionally, we get an email whenever back-end routine fails. So we do the corrections if required and re-execute the routines.

          Please look at confirmation statement for ee Helen Manzano. There are no Employee costs showing for the Optional Life Plan. Was this something that should have been updated in WorkTerra along with the updates Dev made for the other 290 entries? Please see screenshot attached.

          Just discovered that the employee actually waived the Voluntary Life benefit; this is separate from the STD and LTD benefits that she was to remain enrolled in that were taken care of previously on this ticket.
