      Can oyu look into this issue from the most recent payroll file.

      Looking at the last payroll file there were several employees that had errors due to an invalid earning and deduction code. It’s using 90-Day instead of 36L. See below. Can we have this corrected before the next file comes tomorrow?

          Hi lisa davison,

          Below are the details.

          1) Invalid PS earnings code : This was customization issue, we have corrected it.

          2) Credit does not exist in PS for EE : This is because of EE got enrolled and terminated after last export. Therefore directly termination sent over the file.

          3) Credit exists with effdt, diff amount : This is because of the employee got terminated with retro date. we had sent rate effective date as 01/01/2018, after that employee got terminated with change date 12/30/2017, so 2018 rate got terminated as never effective and 2017's rate effective date is passed on file as 07/13/2017.

          The client has identified additional issues on the payroll file. We need the issues corrected ASAP!

          There is another issue with the last payroll files. On the deduction file there were several that it was providing a term date of Domestic Partner coverage but a Domestic Partner was not previously covered. See below:

          We analyzed and found the customization issue, that the non-DP records which are got terminated as never effective were sent with DP deduction code this caused issue.

          We have changed customization, This will not happen again.

          Is this a new file built for ECH for 2018? We did not have these issues prior to OE and not sure why we are now having so many customization issues. Is there anyway we can review the file in detail to ensure all the customization is correct based last years file.

          Yes, we have created ECH for 2018, but we have cloned it from 2017's files as is. Usually we change customization of templates in the December when open enrollment ends to pull out OE file. and after OE file sent we sets proper customization, This customization was missed in this year. Therefore this issue came.
