Please refer below 3'C for this issue.
Concern:- Five Guys: Ongoing Issue (Defined Contribution Not Showing)
Cause:- EE has future election that is effective date from '01/01/2017' in Dental and Medical benefits in this case if we change demographic data of EE with retro date then system check eligibility of "Defined Contribution" and according to eligibility of "Defined Contribution", DC is eligible only when employee enrolled in Dental and Medical benefits.
On Retro date system does not found active enrollments, because of this ineligibility enrollments "Defined Contribution" delete from system for the EE.
For Example:
EE enrollment Effective date ='01/01/2017'
EE enrollment Termination date ='12/31/2017'
Retro Date Qualifying Event='12/11/2016' (EE Effective Date)
On '12/11/2016' system does not found any active enrollments, because this "Defined Contribution" delete from system.
Correction:- We have fixed this issue in LB environment. Please verify this issue after LB patch.
Thanks,
Avnish Y
Hi Avnish Yadav,
It is failing in one scenario :
Scenario -
1) Defined Contribution date - 01/01/2016 - 12/31/2017
2) Employee has election in Plan from 01/01/2017 - Here employee got credit pool.
3) Raise QE with daate 12/01/2016 and change any demographics data
4) observe that Defined Contribution set back to 0.
Thanks,
Hrishikesh.
Hi all - the ETA for Prod was 12.26.16 and it still seems to not be working (example employee Joshua Pugliese). I need someone to let us know the status ASAP. I can't express how frustrated the client is with having so many issues with the Defined Contribution.
Hi Jennifer Leugers,
We Apologies to miss ETA.
While testing this we found some issues, development team is working to fix this issues.
We will fix issues on our Local by 12/30/2016, Our Code changes in Defined Contribution Core Logic will impact both BenAdmin and Exchange module so we would need more time to test this fixes.
If our QA testing completed by 12/30 then same day we will move this patch on Stage and on 01/02/2017 we will move it on Production.
Thanks,
Hrishikesh.
We have fixed above mentioned scenario in LB environment. Could please verify the same at your end and let us know in case of any issue/concern.
Thanks,
Avnish Y

This is tested on WT Stage - 30th Dec 2016
Worked Well
I enrolled employee in a plan (which uses credit pool) from 01/01/2017 -> system showed proper updated amounts for credit
I initiated a back dated QE - and made few EDS changes (where employee was not eligible for the built credit pool)
In this case - unlike before : system maintained the credit pool amounts as before instead of clearing them out
We have found one issue WT-7479.

Hello Jennifer Leugers,
Can you please review this at you end on Stage ? If this is working as expected to you - we can move this ahead.
[Data correction is not done on Stage. It is done on Production. Please let us know do we need to perform the same on Stage too]

Hello Jennifer Leugers,
This is deployed and tested on Production.

Along with this, we have also checked the enrollment summaries of Shannon Johnson with other mentioned affected employees on Five Guys Production. Defined Contributions are shown there now.
Please review this at your end once. If this is working well for you, you can close the JIRA.

Please resolve the issue where there are still employees without the defined contributions showing, it appears that defined contributions do not show for some employees until their rates are specifically re-calculated.
Please resolve for all five guys employees not just the specific people listed and for future elections/changes so re-calculating does not need to be done after changes are made.
examples:
Amadou Taal
Matthew Whelan
John Perez
Hi Rochelle Thomas and Lorena.Nava@ebsbenefits.com,
We have created another WT-8008 jira ticket for above mentioned issue.
Thanks,
Avnish Y

Hi Avnish,
As discussed, Please scan all employee which have been affected for future elections and we need to correct this. Also need to share ETA for WT-7479.
After deployment of WT-7479 on production, this issue would not occur again.

Amadou Taal

Cause:- Given employees does not got Employer Defined Contribution at time of enrollment. We are in process to find root cause of this issue.
Correction:- We have recalculated Employer Defined Contribution using workterra utility for these employees.
Please note that we have also scanned whole Five Guys company and we found Francisco Silva employee, who did have Employer Defined Contribution because employee status is a terminated.
Hrishikesh Deshpande could please verify these employee on UI as well as Export file. Please let us know in case of any issue/concern.
