      LONG

Refer the screen shot for Dependent Life Plan Cost and Coverage Customization [no contingency]

      • Set the EOI for New Hire Mode [0 for SP and 4000 for CH]
      • enrollment allowed for EE is No and for CH and SP it is set as Yes
      • log in with employee, enroll Ch with 5000 - this request will go in pending EOI - accept it with 5000 - hence approved and applied amounts for CH becomes 5000
      • now enroll in the same plan for SP with 25000 (applied amount is 25000 and approved is 0) - this will go on pending EOI
      • Reject this EOI request for SP

Expected Result : Ideally system should cancel the SP enrollment - and retain the child enrollment with 5000 as it is
Here system terminates CH enrollment too

Though its as per the current implementation, This is a Bug in our system.
Its another Valid Scenario where the client has found a bug WT-9357

Discussed this scenario with Alankar Chavan & Amruta Lohiya.

Since this scenario exists on JCCC, we should be taking this for implementation. Will schedule after completing client reported bugs.

            Regards,
            Satya Prakash

            Hi Alankar Chavan,

As per discussion with Amit Thorve, Satya and Amruta Lohiya, ideal customization for such kind of issue is to create separate benefit for each dependent.

Earlier Amit Thorve and EDI team had discussion regarding same issue as such enrollments were not exported on a file. EDI doesn't have facility to export such enrollments on a file. Hence they come up with solution to have separate benefit for each dependent which is the best practice.

            Thanks and Regards,
            Rohit Shete
