      Description

      We seem to be having the issue again where username and passwords are not getting generated on import.

      A small batch of new hire was imported on 6/21. When they tried to log in as the employees the usernames and passwords were not working.

      To correct the issue the usernames and passwords were regenerated with the SA tool box. They did not regenerate the user ID for one employee (EEID: 75257) so you could use that employee to troubleshoot.

      Today they imported another batch of new hires please check those employees as well.

          Please advise asap. They have a lot of new hires going into the system right now because it is their hiring season. The client imported another new hire files today and experienced the same issue.

          Hi Debbie Kulling,

          Here are the details about issue:

          Concern: Employee not able to log in if added through Import.

          Cause: While solving the bug WT-9055, we deployed code on production on 20th June 2017, this impacted the password generation process. Passwords were not getting generated properly.

          Correction: We will deploy the code fix tomorrow on production and the issue will be solved.

          Also, we will regenerate the passwords added today through Import. As the code will be deployed tomorrow, if new hires are added today, they'll have a wrong password. We will generate the Passwords for them first thing in morning.

          This has been deployed and tested on production. Also, we have scanned all companies and found around 47 were affected. Attached is the list of the companies. We have regenerated the passwords for users of those companies.

          Can you mention the affected files in both WT-9055 and WT-9033? This helps us to avoid the check in issues.
