Hi Yashau MacShate,

Concern: EE’s are showing coverage of 1.00 for 'UVU Paid Life and AD&D' plan

Cause: 'UVU Paid Life and AD&D' is core plan and 'Minimum Coverage' is customized as $1.
All reported EE got enrollment in core plan automatically with minimum coverage.
Plan is having Offer Amount customization with $50K for employee so ideally Minimum Coverage should set to $50K.

Correction: Please change Minimum Coverage to $50000. After that, we will do coverage and rate correction from back end.

Note: We have scanned all employees and found attached affected EEs EE List.xlsx .

Please find below details for your question

• After configuring the "Minimum Coverage" to 50k (as Jyoti Mayne suggested), it would never effect those who are getting 25k.
• For 25k amount on "Offered Amount" page, "Show In Coverage List" option is not selected. Hence employee can not directly elect 'UVU Paid Life and AD&D' plan with coverage of 25k.
• There are 38 employees who are getting 25k coverage in 'UVU Paid Life and AD&D' plan but these employees get this coverage after reduction only.

Please let us know if more information needed on this.

Yashau MacShate - the customization changes have already been recommended by DEV. Whenever you decide to get data correction done, please create a new support ticket and link this ticket to it for reference.

This needs to be corrected . the site is still showing 1.00 instead of 50,000.

This ticket has been open for more than a month and need your attention. Please reach out to Jackie/ Yami/ Jenni for approval. I am summarizing what needs to be done based on the comments there.

[Debbie, Yashau] Please confirm that you have made the customization change as suggested by Jyoti on Feb 1 and repeated 2 days ago. Data correction can be done ONLY AFTER customization change. System behavior for new hires will work right only after customization change.

[Yami, Jackie] This being a UHC company, DEV needs your approval to make data correction.

I have asked for your approval in the CT ticket - Here is my request:

"To correct the $1.00 amount, you will need to remove the 1 from the Cost & Coverage tab in the minimum field. I wanted to check with Jackie but if you would like to approve this change please let me know.

One other item we noticed, the Offered Amount for the 25,000 is not showing in the drop down if someone is over 70, they will not see this as an option. If this is correct we will ignore any set up changes.

Please approve the above changes and we will make the change today."

Please let us know the rationale of not following DEV recommendation of customization - and what change you have made instead.
If DEV has agreed do the correction for all those who are showing coverage of 1.0 - not sure why are you attempting to do that correction. Also - server error is a bug. Can you please explain the steps to reproduce it?

Abhay Patil - Until I have a conversation with Jackie, I will not be adding the 50k to the minimum. We confirmed that even without the 50k, a new hire is getting the correct issue.

In regards to the additional comments made by Yashau, we have never created a new ticket if it is related to the fix or updates of records. If this is the process I need to have some additional communication.

Also - I advised her to run the report and correct the records manually.

Please come discuss with me when you have any concerns with tickets.

We have corrected attached impacted enrollments.

Note: We found that minimum coverage is set to nothing. If new hire is getting plan automatically through core plan allocation routines then system will assigned $0 coverage.

hello - I apologize for the delay in this response. I just talked to Debbie Kulling about this exact issue on one of her groups. This used to work in the system without issue. My guess is that something broke as related to Offered Amount auto-enrolled coverages as up until October 2017 the system was operating as expecting and applying correct coverages. This is a bug and will need to be corrected as this should be impacting any auto-enrolled coverage built as offered amount.

If that is a case a separate Bug has already been opened for the same WB-556 and already linked to this ticket.

As mentioned by Abhay Patil OPS can provide detailed steps that are leading this problem and expected behavior in the above mentioned ticket.if not done already.
