      Description

      Here are the items for El Dorado

      • I just took Steve Russell through the OE tunnel. He is dropping his OE3 Health Trust coverage and going with County coverage. We chose option A and then the OE3 HEalth Trust form page popped up. We by-passed it and chose County Kaiser HMO. On his confirmation statement, under future coverage, he is showing as being enrolled in both OE3 Health trust and County Kaiser. (sent to us 10/17)

      • Can you please look at this employee's account ASAP? Why is it putting him into Blue Shield for the month of January?!- Walter Thornton (sent to us 10/20)

      • Spouse designation issue – sent to us last week and it’s still an issue this week (Colby Earl) (sent to us 10/20)

            Below are the details for #2:

            Concern:
            ‘Walter Thornton’ is getting Blue Shield PPO 2000 ABHP enrollment for the month of January 2017.

            Cause:
            Employee has done enrollment into Blue Shield PPO 2000 ABHP on 10/19/2016 3:56:47 PM .

            Next day 10/20/2016 09:39:00 AM on ‘Your Enrollment Starts Here’ form ‘’Your Enrollment selection 'A' was changed to 'B', which made employee ineligible for ‘Blue Shield PPO 2000 ABHP’ and it was terminated by end of month policy (since No Termination date policy applied at Plan level)

            Customization:
            Below are the correct customization suggestion for this scenario:
            At plan level: “Update Elections for Termination” policy should be set as: ‘Use Waiting Period: XX Days before Date of Change (1)”

            Please let us know if we should correct enrollment for these plans and change this customization?

            I am looking into two other points and will share details soon.

            Below are the details for #3:

            Concern:
            Not able to remove Ex-Spouse from Primary Beneficiary Designation.

            Cause:
            Customization for ‘Employee Optional Life Plan’ Beneficiary designation has been set to – Requires Spouse as primary Beneficiary.
            Because of this flag as soon as employee enrolls in this plan, by default spouse gets designated as 100% Primary Beneficiary.

            Spouse relationship has been changed to Ex-spouse, but because of this flag customization employee is not able to delete Beneficiary designation.

            Customization:
            In case Beneficiary designation should be allowed to delete, below is the customization suggestion at Plan level:

            Note: As per mail ‘removing the ex wife from workterra’- please let us know in case we should just remove ‘Ex-spouse’ from Primary beneficiary or shall we switch “jessica cahill[Friend]” from 100% secondary beneficiary to Primary Beneficiary?

            Below are current Beneficiary designated for “Colby Earl”:

            Hi Venkatesh,

            Issues have been resolved for mentioned employees, however below are 3 action item pending from our side:

            1. Plan End Date set to 12/31/2016 to following Plans:
            • I am electing County Medical Dental and Vision benefits
            • I am electing OE3 Health Trust Medical Dental Vison
            • I am waiving Medical Dental and Vision benefits
            Action Item: Need to Terminate their Election/Rate/Billing from 12/31/2016.

            2. Plan End Date set to 06/30/2016 to following plans:
            • OE3 Health Trust Plan A
            • OE3 Health Trust Kaiser Plan B
            Action Item: Need to Terminate their active elections/Rate/Billing from 06/30/2016

            3. Verify Employee’s confirmation statement
            We need to Verify 5 employee’s confirmation statement/enrollment summary from each below class. There are total 337 employees which have completed employee workflow, however due to incorrect OE setup, plans were not terminated. I have fetched random list of around 20 employees from each class [El Dorado - SSN to verify confirmation statement.txt] for which we need to verify they do not have active enrollment in any terminated plan.

            Please share your observation.

            I found 3 plans terminating on 12/31/2016 having active enrollments. Plans name are given below,

            • Health Savings Account (HSA)
            • FSA-Health Care Spending Account
            • FSA-Dependent Care Spending Account
              I have terminated all active enrollments of these plans with 12/31/2016.

            Hi Debbie,

            We have attached Testing Status for Employees from different classes.

            As discussed with Dave, we have scheduled the new termination date rule implementation [JIRA ID: WT-5677] , however as a workaround Company Information -> Termination Date rule needs to set to 'Specific Date Selection: XX days before date of change (1 day)'.

            Can you please update this rule customization on El Dorado - production till their open enrollment is going on, so that there won't be any other employee affected with end of month termination.

            When this fix is moved to production, we can revert this customization from El Dorado - production.

            Yes Debbie, for El Dorado the open enrollment period is getting over by 10/28 2016. After this date the customization need to be reverted back.

            In the meanwhile we will be working on new rule for Termination date and will keep JIRA TIcket WT-5677 updated with its status.

            The employees who chose option b should be waived out of the medical, dental and vision effective 1/1/2017, however, they are getting 1/2/2017 termination dates. This is not correct. Please advise. Sample attached.

            Satya This is causing issues with the client. From the client: "I just terminated a retiree using 9/30/16 as the date and the date that populates is 10/2/16. This is happening when people waive coverage too" We cannot have incorrect dates. Please advise asap. Samir Amruta Lohiya

            Hi Debbie,

            We observed that customization changes done for 'Termination Date Policy' is not correct.

            It should be 'XX days before data of change' However currently it has been changed to 'XX days from Data of change'.

            That's why elections are getting terminated from 01/02/2016, instead of 12/31/2016.
            I am correcting the customization and will update affected records as well.

            Since El Dorado Open enrollment period has been over on 10/28. can you please revert the customization for Termination Date Policy at Company Information -> Effective Date/Termination Date Rule page?

            The fix for new rule has been planned with Development and you can check its status in JIRA ID: WT-5677.
